the night calls: a short story

I closed my eyes and felt the grass underneath me. I was alone once more under the star-filled sky. The cold breeze played with my hair, blowing it in my face. The coldness of the night left goosebumps on my skin.

"Why do you always come here?" My sister said walking to me. She then laid down next to me.

I then reached out to the sky. Staring at its ever so many stars. Each twinkling differently than the other.

"Because the night calls for me to listen to it." I replied.
