The Forgotten Diamond

After Turquoise joined the team Steven and Amethyst showed her around the temple. The last place they went was the room where the bubbled gems were kept. "Oh my stars", Turquoise exclaimed in astonishment, "There are so many gems". She looked around in wonder then she went stiff.

"Are you ok", Amethyst asked with worry, "We can leave if you want". "N..no I just", she said shaking her head, "That gemstone looks like a jasper that was in Pink's court". "I mean it's silly it can't be her", she said more to herself than to anyone else, "She's with Yellow on homeworld". "Actually I...we...she", Steven stuttered. "What! Do you know something", she said holding his shoulders and pleading with her eyes. He sighed, "I'm sorry but it is her", he could see the horror in her eyes, "She got corrupted". "But how she wasn't on earth", Turquoise said denying the truth. "She fused with a corrupted gem and it spread....somehow", Amethyst said. Turq Turner away from them with tears in her eyes. Steven and Amethyst exchanged uncertain looks. "I have to fix this", she kept repeating to herself, "This is all my fault I should've never created corruption". "It isn't your fault you were angry when you did it", Steven reassured. "But I still did it", she screamed. "Remember what you told me", he said holding her hand, "You've got to rise from this mistake learn from it I did". "I'm sure you've never dine anything like this", she said smiling through her tears, "You are to sweet and kind just like your mother". "We'll  find a cute for this", Amethyst joined, "There are many other goms that have been corrupted but it won't help of you blame yourself". "If you created it you can destroy it", Steven added firmly. "I don't think I can", she said with a small voice. She got up and touched the bubble popping it instantly.

"Oh no I didn't mean to", she said, "I thought that it wouldn't pop oh what did I do". Jasper formed in her corrupted form. That only increased the tears falling from her eyes. It roared and snapped. Amethyst and Steven quickly summoned their weapons followed by a reluctant Turquoise. Turquoise stepped infront of them. "Why did you do thus to yourself", she said, "Why would you take such a risk". She attacked Jasper. It dodged and she swung again. Pearl and Garnet walked in. "Oh no", they said simultaneously. "Stand back", Turqoise said firmly, "Let me handle it". "What! ", Pearl said with disbelief. Turquoise increased in size. She hit Jasper but she didn't disintegrate. "Oh Jasper I'm so sorry", she whispered before poofing her. She picked up the gemstone and bubbled it. She let go of it and fell on her knees, "I will find a cure".
