"Ok fine", she sighed, "I'll- I'll give her a chance". The look of pure happiness on Jasper's face was enough to melt anyone's heart. "Only because I got to see Jasper emotional". At that the smile was immediately replaced with a scowl.
"I wish Pink was here though", Turquoise said wistfully, "She'd have loved to see her favourite jasper begging". Steven exchanged a look with Pearl that Turquoise didn't quite understand. "Did I say something", she said in alarm, "I know you're not fond of the diamonds but-". "No no, its nothing you said", Pearl reassured, "We have something to tell you'll need to hear this to Jasper". "Rose Quartz is Pink Diamond", Steven blurted out.
"Excuse me", Turquoise said, while Jaspers jaw went slack with shock, "I don't believe I heard you correctly". "I'm afraid not", Garnet intervened, "You heard her perfectly". Turquoise staggered then collapsed, immediately caught by Jasper who was standing not too far away.
"After all this time", Turquoise whispered, "She's been living on earth, with you, in you", she continued as she pointed at Steven. "But why, why do all this", Jasper said supporting Turquoise who seemed to have lost her center of balance. "They never cared", Turquoise said her voice surprisingly becoming bitter, "They treated us like we were defective, off-coloured". "I definetly am", she continued, "But I didn't believe that Pink was defective". "She was soo kind I should've known". "How did you find out", Turquoise said her attention snapping onto Steven, "If I was her I'd put a seal on those who knew about bit".
"Why did she love this place so much", Jasper said looking very confused. "She really loved it", Turquoise said gazing out the window, "I realize how much now".
