The Forgotten Diamond

Pectolite 2

"Oh my stars we fused!" Pectolite exclaimed, "But who exactly are we now?"

The other gems came outside hearing the new voice.

"Oh my... They... FUSED!" Pearl exclaimed a hand covering her mouth. Amethyst, Garnet and the others just looked at her with ashtonishment.

Pectolite bent down looking at the others. She gestured to her gems, "What am I?"

"You're a pectolite," Connie answered quickly.

"Wow..," Steven said in awe, "She kinda reminds me of Opal except her hair is messier and they aren't the same colour."

"Don't compare us to them," Amethyst and Pearl said in unison, "Besides we would defiantly be the better fusion," Amethyst finished.

"Pectolite...sounds appealing," Pectolite said her orangish purple eyes sparkling. "I can't believe we fused," she squealed.

"Well Pectolite what can you do?" Garnet asked folding her arms with an emotionless expression on her face.

"I don't know," Pectolite answered then added with a grin, "Let's find out."

The whole day was spent figuring out Pectolite's powers. She could fly, she could do that thing that Jasper and Amethyst do (like turn into a ball or something), she could shape shift just as easily as Turquoise could. Her weapon proved effective and her voice, well when she sung, you couldn't help but smile.

"Maybe you could try singing to the gems now," Steven suggested, "Your voice sounds more......powerful than before."

"It could work-" Pectolite started.

There was a large crash and smoke was trailing out of the far end of the beach. A few amethysts immerged along with a jasper and a carnelian.

"Hey guys," Amethyst said running towards them, then noticed their grim faces, "What happened?"

"The Diamonds... They're coming," one amethyst said (the one with the curl in her hair).

"We wanted to warn you sooner," Skinny Jasper gasped holding onto the other amethyst (let's call her two). "You have to be ready."

Pectolite nodded stifly, "I'll get to it."
She became smaller and run inside followed by the other gems.

In the bubble room Pectolite stared at the gems. Her voice run clear and soft.

I know we've been through a lot
I know it feels like this is the end.

Steven: But you should all know
That you'll always have a friend.

Connie: Its time to rise and fight for what we believe in.

Pearl: To fight for those we love.

Garnet: To fight for those who are yet to come.

Its time to flyyyyyyyy to sooooaaar to wiiiiin

Lapis: I know we can we do this
The very least we can do is try.

Peridot: I know we can win this
We can make this leap and fly.

All: Its time to flyyyyyyyy to sooooaaar to win.

The bubbles popped and the gems started to glow. They shut their eyes because of all the light.

When they opened their eyes several disoriented gems stood around. Some familiar some strange.

Pectolite noticed Bismuth. She immediately unfused and Turquoise run to her. "Oh Bismuth its been such a long time."

"Turquoise Diamond!? Is that really you," Bismuth said in disbelief. "I thought you got shattered or..or worse."

"Well I didn't. But the other diamonds are coming we need to be ready," Turquoise said becoming serious.

"I understand," Bismuth nodded quickly, "Go do your thing."
 
Turquoise took a deep breath then spoke.
