I loved being outside here, unlike in the city were it wreaks of pollution. I hate thinking about all the undeserving who live with it.

"uh Sakina? Sakina your hurting me" Tobys voice was slightly strained.

I blinked and un clenched my hands that were balled into fists, my right hand had somehow found its way into Tobys, our fingers intertwined. What felt like electricity sparked up and down my arm, and a pleasent tingling feeling was working its way through my hand werever we touched.

My instincts told me to get the hell away from him.

"im sorry Toby" I said trying to get my hand free

"its fine, im not broken" he replied refusing to release my hand.

He directed his sweet smile to me, my lips moved to mirror his. I looked away, sure that if I were able to blush then I would be, as the pleasent squishy feeling he seemed to give me so often occurred in my stomach.

I looked up from my feet to the forest. "you want to go now?" I asked forcing myself to not look at him, since I knew he was looking at me.

"huh? Oh yeah, right , sorry I just got a little distracted." he stammered and looked away from me to the same direction I was looking "sure, lets go"

I allowed myself to look at him with question. He glanced at me, then immediatly away looking embarrassed. He then started walking towards the forest. Still in possetion of my hand he pulled me along with him.

We walked in silence for a few minutes, then Toby stopped. "maybe you should lead, I have no idea were to go" He looked at me through his dark black eyelashes as he spoke making my heart thump even faster.

"okay" I said refusing to let him see how disoriented he made me.

The second I let go of his hand the sparks and tingling stopped. My whole arm felt numb and heavy from the sudden lack of contact. Ignoring the longing feeling i had for him, I sniffed the air, searching for the open spot by the stream. Each of my favorite locations have a specific scent. But the one I was looking for was too far away for my dull human form to detect, even with hightened senses. Sighing I turned to Toby.

"I cant find it like this" I gestured to myself.

"go ahead, I dont mind as much as you may think" he said knowing immediatly what I meant

"are you sure?" I asked, worried.

"Just do it!" he laughed at my discomfort

I turned away from his as the emerald green colour of my eyes were swallowed up by the intense yellow, the green only partly visible in the form of small lines around my pupils, now narrowing into slits. my black jumpsuit tightened slightly and turned dark green, my teeth grew slightly longer and more pointed. The teeth that form fangs elongated more than the others though just as sharp. i didnt change fully, I mostly looked like a tall bulky human girl. But if one were to look at my eyes or see me smile they would know that I wasnt human.

I slowly turned my eyes back to Toby, worried about his reaction. He just looked back at me.

"are you doing okay?" my voice changed too. It dripped with bitter sweet honey as I spoke.

A special something I developed for hunting.

"yup" Toby sounded confident

"then why are you looking at me like that?"

"because I find you anazing" He smiled as he spoke

I dropped my eyes and turned my face away. Toby walked toward me. confidence in his stance. He put his hand to my cheek, the tingle even more noticable, then turned my face to look at him. I met his eyes, but when I did his eyes widened. I dropped mine immediatly.

"no" he said hastily "look at me"

Very slowly and carefully I looked up into his grey stormy eyes.

"yup" he said "amazing"

We both smiled.

"now" he said , letting go of my face "go do your thing"

as his touch left my skin the tingle and sparks died.

"What thing?" I asked confused and disoriented while he took a step back.

"well your still going to show me your armour right? Or did you forget?" a mischevious smile spread across his lips.

"I didnt forget" I snapped "I just wanted to see if you remembered"

"right" he said doubtfully as he streched out the word

I turned my back to him and walked, sniffing the air. I caught a faint scent. east of where we were. Shifting into my human form I turned to look at him.

"This way" I said beginning a brisk walk in the direction the smell was coming from.
