Today was my 12th marathon I ran. It was 2018, hot days. April 22, and they did a Nike Marathon in Los Angeles. 6000 Sepulveda Blvd. was the starting point. The freeway was closed, cause we were all running on the freeway.

I won a few first place. The thing is that I don't get tired. I get full energy, full hydration and strong muscles. I was in good shape. Everyone stood at the starting line. I looked around at the people who were running. Once the man shot the gun in the air, everyone ran and some walked. I jogged pretty quick, ahead of the people.

A guy was behind me, he had his hat on with white Bluetooth earbuds. I slowed down to catch my breath but I was pretty far from the others.

"Hey." The man said, I smiled and chuckled. "Hey. How's it going?" I asked, he smiled and chuckled. "It's good. Nice weather it is out here though." He said. "Yeah." I smiled, I looked at him and jerked my head to the finish line and he nodded. We ran together to the finish line. I guess it took about an hour to do the whole running.

"Wow." I said, bending over, I took some of my water and took deep breaths. "Your 916, right?" The man said, I nodded and he gave me a medal.

“1st Place” it said.

I smiled, I couldn't wait to hang this up with the other 5 first medals.

"Good job. I couldn't catch up with you." The man with the hat said. "Yeah, thanks. It's not my first. It's my sixth."

"Wow. You must be a pro runner." He smiled. "Oh-uh. I'm Josh." He took out his hand and I shook it with a nod. "Y/N." I said, he bit his lip and sighed. "Do you wanna? I don't know. Grab a lunch, sometime?" He asked.

"Yeah. Sure. I'd love that." I smiled, he chuckled and nodded. "Alright, wanna head out now?" He asked. He smiled and took me to his car and we drove off to a small restaurant and ate lunch.

Sorry it's short, I tried to make it longer but I couldn't.
