It's been months ever since Josh and I never saw each other, ever since he walked out that door without another word. I was working, finishing off one of the customers order before I typed a few things on the register. I noticed someones figure stand at the counter in front of me. "Hello, what can I get for you?--" I look up to see Josh with his hood on. I sigh in annoyance, "What do you want?" I asked, he looks around. "Can I please talk to you?" He asked, I tap my fingers on the counter.

"I got off in... 5 minutes. Just wait outside or get something to drink." I said, he pulls out his wallet, pulling out a 20 dollar bill. "You know it, keep the change." I tried not to smile because I knew what he liked. I slid the dollar in my apron before making his drink. After minutes of making his drink, I tossed the apron off over my head and grabbed my belongings before walking out.

Josh looks over and grabs the drink, muttering a small thank you. "Look what ever you say, better make it quick because I have to attend to my mom's house for my brother's birthday."

"Okay... I just want to say sorry. What I've said... I can't forget about you. I swear, I can't sleep, I haven't spoken to anyone ever since our talk. I even ate once a day which was just breakfast. I missed your warmth, I missed your small morning kisses, your smile. I love the thing's you hate about yourself."

(Ha... Panic at the Disco reference)

I sigh leaning on the wall, "Look Josh, I started that talk, I was fully--"

"You weren't fully honest, Y/N. I know you can't stop thinking about regretting to start that talk. I regret to leave you there in the house."

"Oh yeah, also, you forgot about your clothes too, you left them there."

"I want to start over."

"I want it to be over, Josh!" I said, Josh looks down. "I'm sorry... for keeping you waiting. If you need me. You know how to get a hold of me." Josh placed his hands in his pockets before walking off to his car. I sighed watching him walk away from me again. I looked at my phone and walked over to my car, driving to my mother's house. Just to celebrate my brothers birthday.
