You sighed in boredom as you scrolled through your photos of you and your husband. "Hey. What are you doing up so late?" Josh asked, returning from his hang out with the boys. "I couldn't sleep, I woke up at 5 pm."

"Geez..." Josh sighs in relief as he sat down next to you, his arm wraps around you and he glances at your phone. "Let's go out."

"Why? You already did." You said, he shrugs. "Maybe we can get some air. Come on..." He says, pouting. "I'll get your jacket and shoes." Josh gets up and grabs your coat and shoes at the front door, throwing your shoes at your feet and the jacket on the head of the couch. "Be ready when I come back." He walks down the stairs to grab something in the garage. You sigh before placing your phone on the couch and grabbing your shoes putting them on.

You hear Josh's steps come back up, seeing him holding his skateboard and your custom one. "Ready?" He asked, you nod in response and grabbed your jacket, putting it on. He pulls you into him, kissing your head and handing your skateboard. "Jim, come here boy." Josh says, Jim jerks up from his bed that he chews on non-stop and runs over. Josh puts on his leash and they all walk outside. You throw your skateboard on the ground your foot laid on top, waiting for Josh to get situated with Jim.

"Head to the Stoner Skate Plaza. But take the long route." You nod in response and moved your other foot to push you forward on the street. Josh follows behind you with Jim, trotting with you guys. You hear Josh put on music on his small Bluetooth speaker. Playing "Trees" he watched you, your eyes were closed as your hair flew in the air as you guys traveled down the hill. He loved you, much more than Tyler and his drum set. You guys been together for years, even when the day when she had to leave to California, her mother got a big part of a job. She took Y/N in Senior year, you and Josh were best friends, but both of you wanted to tell the real truth. Josh was too late once you left the school.

He didn't want to text you, he didn't want to video chat you. He wanted to talk to you, right in front of you. He was scared of being alone, you were gone to him, but you were just across the country. He wanted you right next to him. Years past and he joined a band, when he had flaming red hair, they reached to Oakland, in California. On October 18th, 2015, you thought you'd join your friends invite to Twenty One Pilots concert at the Fox Theater. You accepted, she had front row tickets.

Once you guys waited in line to enter the theater, a black van pulled up which made girls scream. Two men, and some guards pushed the two men into the back. They both wore masks, but the one with the sleeved tattoo, looked towards you. He stopped once his eyes met yours. Was it you? He saw you as a young girl, not a full adult. The guard pushes him to the theater.

The concert was great, but you didn't know what the songs were. A song was playing, "Trees." you saw the man you saw at the entrance had a familiar face. His lips looked familiar, his eyes, his smile, but his hair was dyed red. The boys reached towards the crowd to climb on platforms placed in the crowd. "Come on!" You friend says, making your hands reach out to the boy who was about to climb. He reached for yours, his eyes met yours again, mocha brown eyes. Seeing him in front of you, you now remembered him. It was Josh, the boy you left at senior year for your mom's job.

"Josh." You muttered, he climbs up and finally reaches on to the platform. You were the only one standing still as the other fans reached their hands out to grab theirs, jumping for their lives. The song sadly ended, leaving the crowds giving them a "|-/" symbols then you just standing there. You and your friend were the last ones to leave till you heard someone say something. A man with brown hair pants, "One of the boys said one of you looked familiar and he would like to have you join them backstage. Your friend was completely calm even though she was exploding with excitement.

You followed the man backstage, his name tag said 'Mark.' You and your friend walked into a room with food placed on the table. Even some Oreo containers adding with some Redbull. The boy you saw stood in front of you. "I can't believe you're here." You whisper, he lets out a shaky breath, smiling. "I thought you'd forget me." He said, you smile and gave him a large hug. You felt him tense till his arms wrap around you.

"I love you, Josh."

"...I love you, too."

You bent your knees as you took a turn into the skate park, seeing no one on the course. You and Josh look at each other before you smiled. "How long has it been since we've skateboarded together?" I asked. "Years. I love the story when we would always sneak out at night to the park to skateboard."

"Then I sprained my knee and you had to take me to the hospital then my parents got upset." You both chuckle at the memory before you slid down the ramp doing a few classic tricks. You hear Jim bark watching you do tricks. After hours of skateboarding, you and Josh sit on one of the benches at the park. "None of this wouldn't happen if you came to that concert."

"Or you joining a band." I said, he smiles and puts his arm around me, "I love you."

"I love you too."
