Since Josh was a vampire, he's stuck for his age. We're not the same age, I still go to college. He does too, but he has no reason. I sat down with my friends who just laughed and talked. "Hey, your boyfriend is looking over here." Angelia coos, my eyes dart over to Josh who was watching me from a distance, Tyler, Brendon, Jenna, and Sarah. "That one hottie, Brendon."

"Don't you know, Sarah is dating Brendon?" Alex asks. "She is? Wow..."

"I've heard they're all orphans, and adopted by abusive parents."

"No way." I said. "I don't see Josh with bruises." I said. "He probably asks Jenna to cover up his cuts and bruises. It's 2019 now. You've seen those one ugly people who uses makeup to cover up their ugly selves."

"You're mean, Jessica." Alex says. "Hey guys!" Chase says. "Hey, Chase. I forgot my bank card today." Alex pouts. "Haha funny." He says.

"How's your sister? Haven't seen her in a while?"

"I guess, Josh is getting into her head." He says. "Josh?" I asked. "A few years ago. Josh and Deborah were dating, till he broke up with her. On her birthday."

"That boy has got some balls, eh?" Jessica looks at me, while drinking her lemonade. "Y/N here is dating him." I looked over at Alex like 'You had to say it.'

"Oh. Y/N?" He holds his hand out, "Haven't seen you before. I'm Chase." I shake his hand. I could feel his grip tighten which caused me to flinch and glance at the other girls but he releases. "Anyway, I'll see you guys later." He calls running off with some other dudes. "Oh look who's coming! It's Jordan." Angelia says, I glance over and saw Jordan and his older sister, Ashley stood beside him glaring at me.

I began to walk to my car till I saw someone stood by it. "Excuse me? Could you please get off my car?" I asked politely.

(You know what I did there)

"Oh sorry! I actually didn't realize why I was, I was just chilling. Oh you're Y/N? Right?" I nod. "I'm Jordan." I smiled softly. I noticed the tattoo showing on his right shoulder. "That's a cool tattoo." I said, he smiles. "Thanks. By the way, you're father knows us, we're neighbors." He says. "Oh, is your dad the one in the wheel chair?"

"Yep. That's him."

"Do you have a ride?" I asked. "My friends and I were gonna go to my older sisters house. Chill by the beach."

"Oh. Well. If you need a ride home after class I can do that." He smiles. "Sure. Thanks." He runs off with his friends. I jumped into my car and I placed my purse on something that made an 'oof' sound. "What the--Ahh!" I screamed, Josh sat there in the back of my truck. "What the hell, Josh? You can't just jump into my car and not say anything."

"I don't like that kid."

"Like who? Jordan? He's okay." I said. "Promise me you won't hang out with him?--"

"Josh, stop acting like my dad! You're such an idiot."

"You're an idiot falling for a vampire and falling for peoples kindness." He says. "I didn't fall in love with you because you were a vampire. I fell in love with you because you were the one who could be there for me. I found out after being in the middle of our relationship. Before the secret I loved you. Won't stay with you for long, I know that."
