"What's your name?" he asked you with a hard gaze.
You avoided his eyes, looking for something else to focus on before they landed on his lips. You bit your bottom lip a little, nervous maybe but mostly anxious, "Y/N" and he looked away. They were rosy pink, thin but soft and slightly wet.
"We decided to accept your offer."
-A day earlier-
The floor was cold, the walls were cold, you were cold. It had been a good 15 minutes of being stuck in the white-washed room, seeing your breath come out in small white clouds. You could feel fatigue taking over and your eyes starting to close. It must be past 4am by now.
There was small shuffling outside and voices that sounded muffled through the door. Bored and curious you made your way over to the door and held your ear against it. Maybe you'd be able to find out what they were going to do with you.
Unfortunately the voices weren't clear and you only heard bits and bobs.
"She let them ago. We have to start all over!"
"Calm down."
"It took us 4 months to track them and fi" the rest of the sentence inaudible.
A few moments of muttering later, "yeah yeah."
"That's your job."
"Hurry up."
The voices were getting louder which meant they were moving towards the room you were held in.
"This one?"
What are you talking about?
You whined silently, your head spinning with hundreds of different scenarios on how this was going to turn out: death, torture, anxiety... death?
Whilst you were too busy pondering, the door became unlocked without you noticing and pushed open. You were propped up against the door until you found yourself lying face flat on the freezing floor. Feeling your cheeks turning hot and red you sat up scornful.
A dark pair of eyes met yours, it was the youngest one, Jungkook.
He left for a few seconds before returning back with a mattress which another boy helped him carry.
"You're-" you squeaked and coughed to get your voice back to it's normal pitch, "you're not making me stay down here forever right?"
He chuckled a little.
Wow, must be real funny huh.
With no reply you flopped back onto the cold, hard ground with no hope left, accepting you were going to be a hostage forever to rot in this stone cell.
"Will you at least feed me?" you grumbled, not expecting an answer. Food was the most important thing on your mind right now.
"What do you want to eat?" you heard, a sudden glimmer of happiness passing your now dilated pupils. With a bolt you were sat up but then you saw his expression. A smug smirk pressed tightly on his pretty face yet he looked pure.
"Don't play with me" you said darkly and depressed once again.
"We're not running a hotel here you know?" he said as he began closing the door once again.
"Oh really? Can't believe I didn't realise that when I got dragged below the ground!"
There was a chuckle on the other side of the closed door. A loud sigh escaped your lips. Your thoughts suddenly turned to how your mum would react not seeing you in your bed or coming out for breakfast as you did every morning. When they saw your bed made up and the desk lamp on the duvet from when you accidently kicked it over. La On asking them where you were because you'd usually be there to feed him breakfast before going to the cafe, where you worked the lunch shift every Saturday. Your manager ringing your phone non stop thinking you were sleeping in and late as usual. Had your world been taken from you? What was in store? You couldn't handle it.
