You kicked Jungkook in the gut, as hard as you could. He shouted as he fell to the ground hunched over, pain portrayed all over his partially hidden face, his deep breaths shallowing. You grabbed Eun Ae's hand, "quick, we need to go. There's more of them coming once they find out he's down!"

She nodded at you before taking one last look at Jungkook who was beginning to stand up again. Panic written all over her expression, she followed you, far away from the festival.

-Yesterday-

Someone poked your head repeatedly. The constant pressure on your forehead caused it to start hurting as you fluttered your eyes open with a scowling frown.

"Do you mind?" you called out, flapping your hands about trying to force whoever it was bothering you to leave you alone.

"We're at the rest stop Y/N, wake up before I regret persuading Namjoon hyung."

Your eyes snapped open, only to be layed upon an impatient coconut head. His lips pursed and eyebrows crinkled, the sun highlighting his flattering features and sharp jaw.

"Sorry, I'm awake now" you smiled meekly.

"Well lets go then!" he exasperated with a 180 degree turn of attitude, much more bubbly. You giggled as he walked out, following from close behind.

It was exactly 1pm. Jin locked the van once everyone was out (meaning you and Jungkook). Namjoon did a quick headcount which you found unnecessary but absolutely the cutest. As if someone could have been lost in the car ride here.

"We have 20 minutes so eat or whatever." Yoongi was scrolling through something on his phone.

After a quick glance at the boys you coughed, trying to force someone to say something but everyone was busy on their phones.

"You hungry?" you heard from behind you. Hoseok eyed your shy stance and nodded, as if you answered his question.

He began walking to the cantene, making a hand motion letting you know to follow him. He kindly held the door open for you and the place was pretty empty. Just a few old couples dotted here and there. You didn't even care about how busy it was though- nope. Just the smell of the food hitting your nose made your senses alive and your eyes brighten.

Hoseok noticed how your expression lightened and your body looked less stiff. He could tell you had been uncomfortable around them which was standard.

With a jumpy gimick and a clap of his hands, Hoseok licked his lips. You felt as though as you were watching a food show with a hyperactive host. The smile on your face was genuine.

"What should we eat?"

"Hmmm," you eyed the options carefully and picked out rice with some ribeye patties and radish soup, "anything else?" he asked you warmly and you shook your head, not wanting to push and be rude.

You ran to grab some utensils and water, juggling them against your chest as you carried them back. Hoseok got up to help you put everything down and then you both sat, chopsticks at the ready in your fiddly fingers.

You ate quite a lot, Hoseok was kind enough to just let you eat and sit with you so that you weren't alone. Although, you weren't sure whether you should try to make conversation. Luckily, you didn't have to.

"How was the ride so far?" he asked softly, taking a sip of his water.

"I was asleep most of it so I don't really know" you scrunched your nose, upset you couldn't give a proper answer after his effort to converse. He didn't have to. You felt touched.
