Sofia's old boyfriend Pietro Bosselli
Sofia's POV
I went to a bar called 'enigma', I used to come in here all the time when I lived in Italy but since moving away it has expanded into a night club as well. The club was full, I struggled my way through the crowds of people to get to the bar.
"One martini please".
I turned around and scanned the room to see if there was anybody I knew, I would be here every week with my friends and it had only been two years since I had left so they couldn't have changed that much.
" Here's your drink beautiful."
I turned back around to pay and get my martini but before I could do so a man with a very every familiar voice had already paid for me.
I looked behind me to see who had made the kind gesture, I couldn't believe my eyes, they must have be playing tricks on me. The reason I had left Italy in the first place was standing in front of me, my ex-boyfrind Pietro had just bought my drink for me.
"Wow for the first time Sofia has nothing to say."
What could I say, last time I saw him he was being sentenced to 10 years in prison because of my family. It had only been 2 years, so what was he doing out?
"Pietro, wha... What are you doing here?"
He still had his cute face but his body... well it had definitely developed.
"My father, you know the one your dad set up took the blame for everything so I got released."
He is still holding it against us, but we had to do something about his father, he was becoming more and more dangerous with the power he was getting. So my father and Ivan's father set him up in some deal what he got caught out in with the police, he was sentenced to life in prison because with further investigation they found out about all the crimes and murders he had committed.
Pietro and some of the other members got sentenced as well but for much less time. Obviously me and Pietro split up after because my family betrayed his family but it had to be done.
"I'm sorry for everything what happened but it had to happen, your dad became so dangerous Pietro."
If he is like the old Pietro I once loved he would have seen by now why it had to happen.
"I know Sofia, and I don't blame you or your family for what you did. Being in prison made me realise what he had become and I can understand why your father did what he did."
Thank God... that could have become awkward if he still hated me.
"So I heard you left to go back to the U.K. why are you back here?"
Because I'm being forced into marriage....
"There was just some business my dad wanted me and my mum involved in so yeah that's why I'm back here."
