Author's POV
Millie had high hopes, but sadly her heart was broken at this point. She expected her Mum to be... different. Instead she was so far up Charlotte's ass that she could barely see the teen. Cheryl wasn't like that, she'd thought. Her Mam was so caring, so in tune with her daughter that the slightest switch of character or mood, she'd notice.
Kimberley had her own issues and Millie didn't understand that. She didn't know her Mum enough to understand her careless nature.
So here she was, sat in Maisie's bedroom trying to wrap her head around this all. She could hear giggling coming from the back garden, wishing she was home in London.
"You're so funny, Kimberley." Charlotte smirks, settling down in Kimberley's lap, wrapping her arms around her neck. "Mmm do I love you." She sighs, kissing her neck and earning a groan in return.
"You're trying to kill me, aren't you?" Kimberley chuckles, grabbing at the back of Charlotte's ass. "Hm?"
Charlotte gives her a wink, placing a finger to Kimberley's natural puffy lips.

"Ah," Cheryl sighs, settling down beside her daughter as they sat out on the patio seating, taking a sip of her tea. "This is me favorite part of any day." She comments, wrapping an arm around Maisie as they both sip away their cuppas.
"What part is that?" Maisie asks.
"Just spending time with you really." They share a smile, "I love you, you know that right?"
Maisie's eyes build up with tears, suddenly. "Really?" She sniffles.
Cheryl frowns, "Of course." She sets her cup down, taking Maisie's with hers and pulling the teen straight into her arms. "You didn't talk to us, you know? What happened at camp?"
Maisie shakes her head, she was never a crier, she's not sure where the flood of emotions came from. "Nothing, nothing happened." She sniffles in her Mam's arms.
"Then what's the matter? You were supposed to be there for over two weeks, bubs. Why did you want to come home so early?"
Maisie shrugs, "I just missed home is all."
Cheryl smiles, releasing the cuddle to look into her daughter's eyes. "I missed you too." She smiles further, showing off her dimples.
Maisie reaches up and touches her Mam's face, memorizing it. "I wish I looked like you."
Cheryl frowns once more, "Don't be silly. You're the definition of beautiful."
"You're only saying that because you have to."
"Bubs, where is this coming from?"
"My head."
Cheryl chuckles, "Since when did you become so cheeky, eh?"
Maisie shrugs, "Can I ask you something and you promise not to be upset?"
"Of course. You can ask us anything."
"Why do we never talk about my Dad?" Maisie asks, already knowing damn well she didn't have a Dad.
Cheryl sighs, knowing this would eventually come up. "What made you think about that?"
"Well, I mean, you've never talked to me about it—"
"We've talked about it loads."
"I know, but, not like how I want to. I mean, where is he? How come he doesn't care enough to come check and see how I'm doing?"
