Jihyun had always been secretive. You were only one of many of those secrets. But when MC gets caught in Mint Eye's trap and he goes to rescue her, some of those secrets starting coming into the light.
"So?!" Jihyun looked at you in sweet anticipation.
"It... it takes a minute... remember?" You frowned as you sat at the island in your new kitchen.
"Ah, yes, yes, of course, my love. I should remember that." He smiled and wrapped his arms around your body.
"Yeah... we've only done this every month for the last year..." You sighed as you held the pregnancy test in front of you.
"And I'm just as hopeful every time! It'll happen, I am sure of it." He kissed your neck. "And I don't want you to get upset if this doesn't turn out well. Remember that we'll just keep trying, and that we have plenty of time."
"I know, I know..." But the tears were already welling in your eyes and you closed them in response.
"Shh, shh, shh. It's going to be okay, YN. We will get there. Don't get worked up, look it's just about to change." He held you tightly.
And then you looked down.
