HAIR DAMP with a steamy mist shed over Dane's terra-cotta skin while she scrubbed at the layered organ with her honey, lavender, and shea butter scrub. Her skin varied from a brownish-orange in the cooler months then shifted to a dark-reddish brown tone once she baked in the scorching hot seasons. Right now Dane was at ease as she let the water rain down her body, not feeling rushed as she wasn't required to turn up at work until this afternoon. So right now she was enjoying her shower, already following up with half of her skincare routine knowing that her pores were fully open right now which gave her the advantage she wanted once she got out.
Her blow-out had reverted back to its natural texture once the water hit it, the dark chocolate hair stretching out into ringlets that would find shrinkage once diffused. It had been two weeks since she straightened her hair so this shower would certainly take its time and thanks to the boys being so generous they also gave up one of the bathrooms that became Dane's. When she opened her eyes she was met with the eyes of something animalistic. A creature was clinging onto the shower head staring at her, its darken eyes fixed on her frame. Dane let out a scream sliding back against the shower walls failing around to catch herself, gripping onto the shower curtain for leverage but to no avail her body flew to the left falling onto the bathroom title. The creature growled at her aching form as she clenched her wrist in pain.
The nineteen year old continued screaming finding that her peaceful shower was now over as she scrambled to get to her feet although her upper thigh and wrist ached. She managed to snatch a towel off a rack on her way to the door quickly wrapping it over her torso as she fumbled to unlock the door, not daring a chance to look behind her; continuing to hear the growls of the creature behind her.
Once she got into the hall Dane let the words bleed from her throat, "AUSTIN!" But not without slamming the door shut behind her, trapping the creature inside.
Dane sat with one leg crossed over the other in the dining room, a ice pack pressed against her thigh and a new found bandage wrapped around her wrist thanks to Brandon. She was beyond irritated as Austin sheepishly sat in front of her in the other chair.
"Austin...what the fuck?!" Was all Dane managed to get out after sitting there in silence for ten minutes. The whole incident caught the attention of Brandon and Edwin as Nick and Zion were still currently knocked out on this lovely Thursday morning. Brandon and Edwin were the only ones awake besides Dane as their morning routine consisted of hitting the gym before going to work.
Edwin was the one to wake Austin up from his nap (he had creeped back into the house 6 this morning) while Brandon tended to Dane's bruises.
"I get why you're upset," Austin managed to get out while stifling around a yawn, "But Oreo is completely harmless."
Dane clenched her eyes shut as she took a few deep breathes while Brandon shook his head leaning against one of the chairs, "Dude this may be one of the strangest things you've brought into the house yet."
