It's been a full week since the announcement of stricter enforcement in the new year. Everyone is so stressed out. Fortunately, we are one of the luckier rebel groups, because we actually have a base to live and train in. We found a small abandoned house. It has a lot of problems, falling apart, things don't work, etc. so it wasn't useful to them. Renovating broken down houses doesn't happen to be something they often care about doing. The place is barely big enough for all of us to live in. Natasha and I share what had to be the living room, Adam and Nicole share a decent sized bedroom, and Gerard has the small bedroom to himself. There is a kitchen and bathroom, but they're useless, nothing in either one works. We've been training even more this week. If you're going to survive, or at least freely, you train all the time. You constantly find yourself having to fight off Conformist Soldiers. And they're often very strong. Also considering the medication they take makes them emotionless monsters, they're ruthless, no humanity. Considering they've become about 90% or more of the population, it isn't surprising they're everywhere. So we have to stay in good shape, and always try to learn new techniques, etc. They're very zombie-like. If the threat wasn't so real, I'd be pretty amused by the fact that this world kind of seems like The Walking Dead or Zombieland. Except these are live people, and they had somewhat of a choice to become like that... kind of sad really. It's like a man-made zombie apocalypse. I have to train now. I'll write more later.
