Today started out pretty normal. I woke up to Natasha complaining because she wasn't doing too good at her training. She had her long curly auburn hair pulled back in a ponytail. Her soft features were fierce with determination now. I noticed Adam standing in the doorway. "Are you done yet Nat? It's been an hour and a half, it's someone else's turn and you need a break." He said. She looked at him with her puppy dog eyes, "What am I going to do? Things are about to get a lot harder and I can't even hit some targets on the Simulator!" She exclaimed.
"We'll protect you but we need to practice too."
"Fair enough."
"Thank you."
Natasha logged out of the Simulator and Adam took over. He always knows how to knock sense into her. I think she has a bit of a crush on him too, though theres no time for relationships these days, she's wasting her time. Before all of this though, he's definitely someone she'd go for; with his blond hair, sweet face, and hard-to-get attitude, he's right up her alley. Though no one can deny Adams' attractiveness, I've always loved Gerard. He had black hair, he dyed it red though in big part because of the rebellion. Being colorful is definitely part of what we do.Our appearance is something we can still fairly easily control and make our own still. He has the most beautiful brown eyes, and I've loved him since we were kids. We're inseparable. After about an hour of Adam training, Nicole demanded to take her turn. She's got to be the most dedicated to training. She's very serious about everything she does, which most of the time is good, but sometimes can fuck everything up. She also had black hair, but she dyed it blue, also for the rebellion. She has strong features, but they're attractive on her. While I'm describing everyone, I might as well tell you what I look like as well. I have natural blonde hair but I decided to put streaks into it. I have streaks of blue, green, red, and pink. I have hazel eyes, and I'm an awesome shot with a laser-gun. Then I did my training and we decided to go to one of the rebel-run restaurants. There are more rebel businesses out in the open than you'd think; they're just well hidden. This specific place we went to, for example, is in the back room of an abandoned warehouse; where no Conformists would think to check. We traded some of Natasha's make-up to the girl who runs the place, for our dinner. Yeah, money doesn't mean much to rebels, we trade useful things, or something rebels don't easily get; which is nearly everything. We can't shop at regular stores. We aren't welcome and security is pretty strict there. And everywhere Conformist-run. That's what most of the Conformists jobs are. Security / Patrolers. Anyway, our night was still pretty normal at that point. When we were walking home we were ambushed by a group of maybe 7 Conformist Soldiers. We were outnumbered and not skilled enough to take on that many. So we ran into the nearby forest, where we eventually lost them. But then it got weird. We were trying to figure out the best way out of the woods without crossing paths with the soldiers again. Nicole said she knew a path that wasn't too far out of the way, so we let her lead. Not five minutes later, Adam exclaimed, "Over there! What's that thing?" We all looked, but no one could really tell from afar, so we went closer. This sounds so cliché but bare with me. We got close and it just looked like a broken satellite. From a radio station maybe? We all got a little closer, I guess to try to figure out why or how a radio satalite got into the middle of the woods. But then it made this god-awful high pitched noise. You know how sometimes you hear an annoying high pitched noise, normally only in one ear, for seemingly no reason? This was that about 20 times worse, in both ears. We all fell down, attempting to plug our ears. It got to us so much, for so long, we all must have passed out. Gerard woke up first. He shook me awake saying "Felicia! Felicia! Wake up!" I woke up and asked him what had happened, he said it must have gotten so intense we passed out. I helped him wake everyone else up, then we went the rest of the way home; luckily with no more interference from soldiers. We were all pretty weak at that point. We've been home a bit over an hour now. Some of us feel pretty sick, the others just feel odd or weak, so we're calling it an early night. Write more later.
