That night, i was laying on my bed, gasping loudly from a nightmare as I slumped up, perking up on my elbows as I was looking around in horror.
I turned my head, glancing at my alarm clock which read 3:06 a.m. I exhaled loudly, pulling the covers off me as I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen. I pulled open the cabinet door, grabbing a glass as I filled it with water, leaning against the counter as I leisurely sipped on it.
My heart was still pounding, feeling waves off heat washing over me."You okay?" I heard a sleepy voice call out
I jumped as some bits of water came splashing on my shirt, looking at Dallas leaning against the doorway of the kitchen. I scoffed, looking at him.
"Seriously?" I rolled my eyes softly, whispering low. "You idiot, you made me spill water on my shirt!" I snatched the cloth off the counter, rubbing the water stain off my grey t-shirt.
He chuckled softly, running a hand through his messed up hair. He was shirtless, wearing his blue jeans. In the corner of my eye, I can see him smirking, his left lip rising than the other, taking a few steps closer. I met eyes with him, my mind somewhere else as I was staring at him, my mouth opened as my eyes traveled to his abs, back up to his eyes.
"And what are you staring at, you like what you see, doll?" His voice was in a low, deep husky voice. He stepped even closer to me, making me stand straight, backing up into the counter even more. His hand cupping my face as he looked down at me, biting his lip softly. His greasy hair shining under the moonlight right through the window. It was a little dark in the kitchen and I couldn't see his face, but I could feel his touch, and his body touching against mine. His thumb was caressing my check as his hand rested below my ear. I swallowed, not knowing what to do.
The light flickered on, causing me to gasp. I snapped my head, looking over to where I seen Sodapop, my twin brother standing right there with his arms crossed. He glanced at Dallas; hard. He walked over, separating Dallas from me as he pushed him softly back, staring at him.
"You go back onto the couch before I make you sleep on the porch." Soda said, looking at Dallas.
Dallas scoffed a chuckle, backing up a bit, heading on back into the living room, Soda's eyes still glued onto him. I watched Dallas walk back out, laying onto the couch. Soda rubbed his face in frustration, looking at me for a quick second before leaving the kitchen."Head back to bed."
He walked back out, heading upstairs as I hear each footstep hit against each stair.
What was about to even happen?I snapped out of my thoughts, swallowing as I picked up my glass, walking out of the kitchen and back upstairs, until Dallas called me, again.
"Doll?" He asked.
I stopped, looking over as I seen Dallas lying flat on his back, his hands folded behind his head as he grinned.
"Can you stay with me down here?" He questioned, moving over a slight bit as he held the blanket open, waiting for me to crawl on the couch with him.
I can't, I have Erik. Besides, my brother would skin me alive if they ever saw me with Dallas in that matter.
