I know it's honestly been awhile since I've updated but there were too many things happening, but hey I'm back and I'll be continuing to update this story more often, love y'all. :)___
"Oh my god," I whispered under my breath, my eyes widened as I backed up; stopping in my tracks in the farther end of the alleyway I ran into.
My eyes traveled to the beaten body that was laying on the ground curled up into a ball right in front of my body, groaning for dear life. He was forcing his breathing as he held onto his hand. It was a guy, not just any guy, but a greaser from Tim Shepard's gang. I don't know anyone from that gang, but I know for sure as hell that guy is in that gang. He's wearing his leather jacket, all cut up in certain spots in shreds. His bright blue eyes which opened softly, looking up at me as he let out a breath. I swallowed as I looked at the few Soc's gathered around him right behind him.
Was it a good idea or a bad idea to come back here?
In my head, I knew it was bad because these Soc's all mean trouble, but was good because I stopped them just in time.My eyes kicked straight to Erik's in a quick second. His brown eyes showing extreme words of angry, but had quickly soften to worry.
"Are you kidding me?" I questioned. "What the hell is this? You better have a damn right reason for this."
I was extremely hurt. During the beginning stages of our relationship, he promised me that he would not come near us greasers for kicks, he was better than that.
My heart pounded. Immediately, I knew Dallas is always put into these situations. So what did I do? Did exactly what he did. I clenched my fist trying to look tuff, looking dead into each of the Soc's eyes who were one of Erik's buddies. My fists wanting to hit straight into their lower abdomen.
"Bexley.. baby, I had to-"
"Had to, my ass."
His expression turned right to an annoyed look slapped on his face. He shaked his head, his left lip rising then the other as he let a chuckle pass his lips.
He came closer.
"You know it was for self defense. For a matter of fact.. this scum knows better than to even go near us and start trouble like the rest of you hoodlums are." Now that he came closer, I could tell he was a little out of it. His breath smelt like alcohol.
"That ain't even true Erik.. you're actin' like a stick in the mud."
"What did ya say?" He questioned with anger.
I swallowed. Right before I knew it, I felt a sharp pain hit across my cheek, slamming me into the ground in seconds. As much as I tried to to hold in my tears, the pain came out like an uproar from my throat in the form of a silent scream. A few pieces of my hair came in front of my face. I wanted to move it, but my hands were stuck to my cheek of how bad it hurt. I closed my eyes what seemed like forever, and I accidentally fell asleep right in the alleyway.

Dallas POV
"Jesus Darry, how the hell am I s'pose to know where the hell that chick is? She roams around town everyday!"
"Because she always sticks with you!"
Darry was getting really upset and worried at this point. Sodapop and Steve are at work, and the rest of us are back at home at the Curtis wonderin' where Bexley ran off too. I'm worried at this point too, which isn't my thing to do, sometimes I couldn't care less where anyone went for how long.. but Bexley man.. man there's just somethin' 'bout her. I do have love for the gang, but I just dont show it. Somehow Bexley can spot it on how I'm feelin', she knows everything.
"I'm lookin' for her." I said to no one in particular as I grabbed my leather jacket off the coat rack and out the door I went.
"I'm coming." I hear Ponyboy say out of nowhere as I heard footsteps slamming against the sidewalk.
"You're crazy, you know that kid?" I grabbed a cigarette I grabbed from my pocket, sticking it in between my lips as I grabbed a lighter, lighting it. I could hear Pony looking at me from the corner of my eye. "Crazy for wantin' to come man.. gets dangerous at night."
"I know Dal'.. but I'm worried. She never stays out this late. I just want to make sure she's alright." He sighed, keeping his head down.
"She'll be alright.." I said before taking a drag, sticking the lighter I stole from a Soc back into my pocket. I won a fight, that Soc was passed out on the cement and his lighter was on the ground. So I took it.
I let the cigarette stick between my fingers as I blew the smoke out, watching it form into bits of clouds disappearing right into thin air. I was right across the DX, we've been walking pretty far. I could feel the wind hit up against my face, the smoke from the cigarette blowing backwards right behind me. The street lamp in front of the alleyway was so bright it shines bright enough to see a shadow of a human laying in the alley way. I stopped dead in my tracks as I squinted my eyes, trying my best to clear my vision to make out who it was.
"Bexley..?" I whispered under my breath as I stepped closer to get a better look. I looked behind me to make sure Ponyboy was behind me, and he was.. his eyes widened as his jaw dropped opened staring at the sight.
I threw my cigarette in the ground, stepping hard on it as I ran over. It was Bexley.
"Jesus Christ, kid!" I immediately took my jacket off, wrapping it around her shoulders. "You outta your damn mind?" I kept shaking her shoulders to get her up.
"Dallas.. quit shakin' her, you're gonna give her a headache!" Ponyboy stepped in and laid a hand on her shoulder, which meant for me to stop. I took a deep breath, fiddling with the skull ring I had on middle finger.
"We ought to get her home, man.." I dig my hands underneath her as I carried her bridal style, walking out of the alleyway with Pony trailing behind me. I muttered under my breath thinking it was the Soc's. Ponyboy must've heard me since he mentioned it.
"It was those Soc's.. the kid, Erik."
"How do you know him?" I questioned, looking down at Bexley, her soft lips distracting me. I broke out of my thoughts as I looked at Pony, then back ahead.
"Bexley knows him.. they're dating."'
"The hell are you talkin' about?"
"You heard me. Their dating."
"That's a load of bullshit, Pony.. she knows better than to do that."
He gave me a serious look.
"You'd think I'd lie? Bex didn't want me to breathe a word about it to anyone.. but I had to. He ain't safe."
I let that float around my mind. How in the hell could they possibly be dating? Erik is the biggest player I know. If he lays a hand on her in my sight I'm breaking his fingers.
We both walked back inside the house as I gently laid her on the couch, giving her one last look as I was ready about to step foot back outside.
"The hell happened?" Darry shot up from his chair as he ran over to Bexley, checking her over.
"Found her in the alleyway across the DX," I talked in a low voice, my eyes kept on Bexley.. "I'll see ya later." I looked at Bexley before turning around and walking out.
"Where do you think you're going this late at night, Dallas?"
"Out."
I walked out of the house, I knew I wanted to go to Bucks. I was pissed. I dig Bexley. I've always had.. and she had her eyes on a Soc?
She's got a lot of explaining to do once I come back.
