I'm so sorry this isn't an update, I'll be updating really soon, I promise! But I wanted to let you guys know that I uploaded a new book called, Reckless Behavior. It's a Ponyboy Curtis love story! The book is in a Soc's perspective with my main character named, Megan Schmidt.
I'll post a little sneak peek here:
_______
"Don't trust him."
"Funny, that's exactly what he said about you."
I turned my head sideways to avoid staring straight ahead at the preppy jock who made my blood boil through every part of my body. I laid all of my weight onto the pale blue lockers, and aimed my stare at my friend, Maddy. Her lips were lingering with a smile as her lips were painted with the color of a light red. With the way she was smiling, she knew what was being thrown to her.
"Just don't," I grumbled, crossing my ankles together as my feet were tired of standing with the red strapped heels I had on, "You know how he is. I don't stand him and he doesn't stand me, it's pretty simple, Maddy. He's a Mr. know-it-all."
"But look at him, Megan," she groaned, slightly turning her head behind her as she glanced at every part of Justin Harvey's body. "He's so hot."
I played with my watch absent-mindedly as I looked at the clock, knowing our last period will be starting soon. I put in my locker combination, and grabbed my history books. When I held them against my chest, my track bag laying on the bottom of my locker caught my eye. Damnit, I thought to myself as I let out a sigh through my nostrils, I have track practice after school. I shut my locker and looked at Maddy,
"I'm gonna' start headin' upstairs to history class before Mr. Naffin kills me, I'll see you around."
She nodded and waved as we both parted different ways to classes. I walked past many people in the hallways, some greasers and some soc's like me. I don't have a problem with greasers, which makes me feel like a total outcast. I dust my skirt off with my free hand as I walked up the stairs, seeing Curly Shephard giving me the eye as I caught his glance. I stared at him back as he passed me, my teeth were clenched as I kept walking; I hated his guts. He's like another Dallas Winston, but I never bother with them - at least I try not to. You never know what could fly out of their mouths when they approach you, mostly things you don't want to stick around to hear.
