Michael and I sat down in the leather booths, relaxing a bit after a shit day. We missed lunch, because of the whole "incident" thing so we were really hungry. Michael and I only knew one place near the school, a late 70's type restaurant. In the background, you could hear a broken jukebox play the same song over and over.

And now we meet in an abandoned studio
We hear the playback and it seems so long ago
And you remember the jingles used to go
Oh-a oh

Michael and I sat in complete silence as we stared intently at our menus. He suddenly coughed breaking the silence. "What are you getting Y/N?" I looked back down at the menu, frowning at the small selection. "I'm just going to get whatever you get...as long as its meat." He shook his head back and forth and looked back down at his menu.

I laid my menu down on the table and started observing the restaurant. Looking at old coco-cola bottle caps lined up on walls, photos of the opening day of the restaurant. I turned back to Michael who was now staring at me. "Why are you staring at me again?" "Again? What do you mean? I've never stared at you, that's bullshit."

"The first day we met you stopped in the hallway just to stare at me." "Yeah, only because...you looked weird." "I looked weird?" He turned around, avoiding my gaze. "Yeah, you're weird." I layed my chin on my hand. "What else am I?" He turned around looking at me. "Fearless." "Fearless? I like it, makes me sound cool." Michael looked away again, still embarrassed.

"What do you think of me Y/N?" "What do I think of you? Well, Slazos confident and funny. Michaels cute and shy. They are two different people." "You're shy, funny, and cute." "That's not a lot of words to describe me." "Well to be fair, you had two, mines better." Michael smiled and moved forward in his booth.
