"That's because...there are not enough words to describe how amazing you are."
I looked into his blue eyes, that were indescribably beautiful. Seeing them on the screen was nothing compared to seeing them right in front of you. "Those blue eyes...I feel like they're coming closer. Wait, they are!" Michael just kept closing in on me. "Michael...I know that-"
My confession was stopped by my phone ringing. "I'm sorry, I should take this." I took my phone out of my pocket and walked outside. "Hello?" "Hey, it's Kerry!" I groaned and ruffled my hair. "What do you want boss?" I asked, annoyance clear in my voice.
"So, I feel like being an asshole. Meet me at Pat Baker Park in 15 minutes, don't be late, see you soon pet." I hung up my phone and looked up at the cloud-covered sky. "It's supposed to rain today... Michael and I even bought an umbrella to share." I looked back through the restaurant window, Michael looked back at me and smiled.
"I need to go, even if I don't want to leave him." I pushed open the restaurant door and walked back over to the booth. "Hey, I have to go." I looked down at my hands not wanting to see his eyes, I know they'd convince me to stay. "Where are you going?" I couldn't tell him who I was meeting, he'd ask me why and well...he shouldn't know why.
"I can't tell you..." "Cant tell me? What does that mean?" I looked up at his pain-ridden face, my heart pounded. "I'm sorry, I have to go." "Wow, okay. You know what? I heard it's gonna rain, you can keep the umbrella." He threw the umbrella at me and stood up from the booth. "Michael I'm-"
"Don't Y/N, your excuses are pointless." He put his hood up and left the restaurant, not even looking back. "Dammit, I'm doing this for you ass wipe!" I wanted to cry but crying was only a waste of energy so I wouldn't bother, not for him. I held tightly on to the handle of the umbrella and sighed.
I looked down at my phone seeing I only had 11 minutes. "Fuck!" I opened my umbrella and ran outside. "Pat Baker isn't that far away, I have to hurry though!" The rain pounded onto my umbrella as everything Michael said flashed through my mind.
"That's because...there are not enough words to describe how amazing you are."
"I know he didn't mean that...did he?" I ran through the rain, clenching onto the umbrella as the harsh winds tried taking it away from me. "I won't let you take it away from me, I won't let you take it away from me, I won't let you take him away from me!" I ran even faster, my feet not even able to keep up.
I looked around to see biker boy swinging on one of the swings at the park across the street. I sprinted across the street to the park. "Y/N, you're here!" He jumped off the swing and walked over to me. "Why did you need me?" "I just wanted to see you." I clenched the umbrella harder. "Just wanted to see me...just wanted to see me."
I looked up at him. He gasped, "Why are you crying?" I hadn't even noticed that I was crying, all the rain made me think it was simply just rain falling on my face. "Whats wrong my pet?" Every part of me told me to punch him, except one part...the Michael part, it told me to cry and sob.
I went against every instinct in my body and I just cried. Biker boy looked at me smirking. "Did I make you cry?" He smiled and laughed. I began to twitch, I can't deal with so many emotions at the same time. I began to laugh and smile like a maniac.
"I have never in my life met someone so ignorant and insane as you. I don't care what you do if you try anything I will beat you up. If you talk to me or Michael don't think just because I'm a girl I won't shove that dildo shaped smirk of yours up your ass." Biker boys smile turned instantaneously into a grimace.
"Y/N, you can't just beat up every problem you come across." "Who says?" "I-I do." I turned around as soon as I heard Michaels trembling voice behind me. "Michael..." "You were really going to deal with him for me?" I grasped on the umbrella tighter almost breaking the handle off. "Yes," I said, looking down. I suddenly felt warm arms wrap around me.
"Y/N, thank you." Michael tightly held onto me. As if letting go of all my fear, my tight grip on the umbrella loosened until it flew out of my hand. I hugged him back refusing to let go.
I heard Kerry stomp up to us and grab my shoulder pulling me out of the hug. "I didn't say you could hug him." I tried getting out of his tight grip, I had to admit I wasn't strong enough. Michael had an expression I had never seen before on him, anger.
Michael ran up to Kerry towering over him and grabbing his neck throwing him on the ground. "Michael!" I grabbed his arm stopping him from killing Kerry. "I just want to go home...please let's just go home." I looked up at him, his tense body relaxed as soon as I touched him. "Okay, let's go home Y/N."
I smiled and attempted to move my legs. "I can't move." "Michael, I can't walk." Not even a second later I was on his back resting my head against his soaking wet shirt. It rained and rained as he walked all the way home with me drifting to sleep on his back. For the first time in years, I could trust in someone to save me.
