Chapter 6

Jakes Pov
After our laughter died down. I got sad....again. I mean I like Erika but we could never be together. The fact that she is TrikyRik is out to her friends and stuff but not to the whole school and my brother. And what if we were to get together. Everyone knows that I'm that kid who is addicted to video games, she wouldn't want to be with me.

E: Jake are you okay

J: Erika...

E: what

J: we can't do this

E: do what?

J: we can't kiss or anything like that anymore.

E: wait why?

J: Erika I like you but, if we were to ever get together. That could ruin you. Yeah your gaming side is out to your friends but not the whole school..And my brother. What if they found out about Triky Rik and the dumb gamer kid being like a thing or whatever. I'm not gonna let that ruin you.

E: wait Jake no..I like you too. Where is this coming from?

J: I'm just worried

E: you need to stop worrying about others. Take some time to yourself.

J: I think I should go Erika.

E: Jake please

J: I'm sorry

E: JAKE!!!!

I left regretting what just happened immediately but I couldn't turn back. I care too much to let me ruin what she has worked on so much. She held on to being popular and Gaming for so long. Ugh I'm such an idiot....I turn around and head back to Erikas.

Erikas Pov
Jake just walked out, I really wanted to be something with him. I slid down my wall and put my head in my hands. I hear footsteps heading my way so I pretend to be on my phone.

???: Erika

I look up to see Jake. I stand up immediately and hugged him tight.

J: I'm sorry I don't know why I did that.

E: you really have to take a break from worrying about others. You're a great guy Jake you just need to take time and focus on yourself and what you want.

Jake leaned in and kissed me. He closed the door with his foot and I had my back against the door. I locked the door and Jake picked me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. We pull back after 10 minutes and I jump down.

E: *smiles*

Jake leaned I'm really close to me face

J: I did that for me. *whispers* thank you

I smiled and pecked Jake on the lips.

E: now you are gonna play fortnite for yourself as well.

J: you are one special girl Erika.

We stayed in the room for awhile just playing video games. So far I've one 2 times and Jake had one 4. I guess it's true Jake Paul is the best gamer there is. After about 5 hours we stopped and went into the living room to see everyone waiting for us with frowns on their faces. Except for sunny an was knocked out on the couch.

E: what?!

M: you guys were in there for over 5 hours yelling while we were trying to watch movies. 

C: weren't you guys hungry

J: we had snacks

A: it was also quiet for awhile.

M: yeah for like ten minutes

E: o-oh um well you see. I-

J: she was crying

C: why was she crying

E: I really don't wanna talk about it...

M: uh okay so you guys want to go to the fair?

Sunny pops up as soon as Mackenzie says fair

S: omg that would be so cool and then we can go on the Ferris wheel.

E: now if we don't go she's gonna be sad....we don't want Sunny to be sad.

J: true let's go.

We all head to the fair. So all we did there was go on the rides Sunny wanted to go on. Which is every ride, it's really hard to keep up with her. And then finally we get to the Feriis wheel. We all get in one but before me and Jake make it on the worker stops us.

Worker: sorry only 4 at a time.

E: oh then guys we can wait

J: yeah

Worker: well you to can get in another one by yourselves

S: do it...thay would be so cute Jerika on a Ferris wheel.

E: okayyyyy

We get in and I sit beside Jake.

J: what's up with Sunny?

E: ever since we've known her she has always been happy no matter what.

J: she's a pretty cool girl

E: what about you.

J: what about me?

E: what happened between you and your brother?

J: I told him that I liked this girl and when he met her he made up lies about me saying that I was obsessed with her and had a shrine all about her. Moral of the story he ended up dating her all he did was rub it in my face.

E: I'm sorry Jake

J: it's fine I have my eye on someone else, she has really pretty green eyes, long brown hair, perfect lips, she likes to play video games. She my kind of girl.

E: I like this boy too. He has green eyes mixed in with hazel, fluffy blonde hair, really muscular, and he also likes to play video games as well. Really my type of guy.

J: what's this guy's name?

E: what's this girl's name?

J: I think you know

E: yeah

Our voices faded away at the end of our last sentences. We both leaned in and kissed. We pulled back but kept our foreheads touching.

J: by the way the girl I was talking about was you

E: I think I caught on *giggles*

J: this girl that I was talking about also has a laugh that I could listen to all day.

E: the guy I like has a soft side that no one ever sees but me...

J: maybe this boy really liked you and trust you. He can really be himself around you.

We moved our foreheads apart and hugged.

E: ugh why is life so complicated

J: I'm still trying to find that out myself.

E: why are you such a great person.

J: *chuckles*

We pulled back.

E: I've said this multiple times but I really really like you...

Jake's Pov
I really want to ask her to be my girlfriend but I'm scared she'll say no. So I'll hold off for now.

E: Jake are you okay

J: huh yeah, sorry I blanked out for a second.

E: are you sure you're fine?
