Chapter 15

Erikas Pov
Jake had left already so I go downstairs with my dad.

E: what's up pop

D: hey Erika sit down

Oh no

E: what's up

D: I fired Linda

E: what?!

D: Eri-

E: no don't talk to me. You knew she was like my mom and you go and do stupid stuff like this. I never thought a day in my life I would be mad at you.

I ran upstairs without letting him get another word out. I packed an overnight bag, ran out the door, and went to Jake's house.

*at jakes*

I knock on the door crying and Jake's mom answers.

P: aw Erika sweetie come in

E: is Jake here

P: yes just go up to his room.

E: thank you

I went up to Jakes room, knocked on the door.

J: come in

I went in his room and as soon as he saw me he came up and hugged me

J: what's wrong peanut?

E: m-my dad fired L-linda....she was like my mom Jake and now she's gone

J: I'm sorry peanut

E: can I stay here for tonight

J: yeah of course let me just get you a sweater

E: I brought clothes

J: yeah but you usually sleep with no pants and a big t-shirt, and our heater is broken so I don't want you to be cold...

E: I love you

J: I love you too peanut

I get changed and me and Jake cuddled up in the bed. I fall asleep almost instantly.

Jake's Pov
Erika and everyone in the house is asleep. I heard a knock on the door, so I slip out of Erikas grip and go downstairs. When I open the door I see Erikas dad

D: hey Jake is Erika here?

J: uh yeah, she pretty upset. She was crying all night.

D: can I talk to her

J: she's asleep. But I promise to have her home tomorrow morning after breakfast.

D: thanks Jake. You're a good kid make sure to take care of Erika for me.

J: of course but I do have a question?

D: what

J: why

D: why what

J: why did you fire Linda

D: if Erika would have let me finish I would have told her that I fired her because I don't think it's right to have your finance working for you.

J: congrats man, Erika will be really excited for that.

D: goodnight Jake

J: goodnight Dennis

Once he left I go upstairs to see a worried Erika.

J: you okay love

E: yeah I was asleep and then I cold all of the sudden, so I went to get a pair of your joggers but the reason I was cold is because you left.

J: alright well I'm here now so let's get some sleep, you have something to do tomorrow and I know you'll be really excited.

E: uh okay, goodnight Jakey

J: goodnight Love

*morning* 

I had to figure out a way to get Erika to her house.

Erika was downstairs so I called her up here.

J: LOVE!!

E: COMING

J: hellllloooo love

E: hi Jakey

J: I wanna take you somewhere

E: okay where

J: that's a Suprise

E: okay uh what should I wear

J: just dress casual

E: okay

Erika left to the bathroom and got ready. I put on some black ripped jeans and a blue sweater. When Erika,walked out of the bathroom she had on almost the same thing as me.

J: you ready

E: yeah

We go to the car

J: I need you to put this on for me

I pulled out a blindfold and Erika wasn't so sure about it.

E: okay fine

After about 5 minutes we pulled up to Erikas house. I helped her out of the car and brought her into the living room. I took her blindfold off and she looked around a frowned.

E: Jake seriously

J: yeah seriously

D: Jake is she here *screams from kitchen*

J: yeah

Dennis comes out from the kitchen.

E: don't talk to me I'm leaving

Erika tried to go to the door but I stopped her.

J: just listen Erika

E: fine

D: I fired Linda because

Li: it would be a bit weird to work for your fiancee

Erikas Pov
My whole life just changed for the better, Linda is like my mom and now she is my step mom. I smiled so big I didn't know what to do.

E: *screams*

Me and Linda ran towards each other and hugged while jumping up and down.

E: oh my god this is great

J: this is why I tell you to stop being so stubborn

E: oh shush

I grabbed Jake's hand and brought him to the gaming room.

J: you just find out that your dad is marrying the woman you considered your mother since you were 2 and you want to play video games?

E: no I wanted to thank you.

J: for?

E: bringing me here

J: your welcome

E: I love you

J: I love you too peanut 

I looked at Jake and smiled we kissed...

But we didn't stop. I pulled Jake onto the couch (in the gaming room) and we started making out. (The door is locked)
