Chapter 28

Jake's Pov
When I get in the house I see Denis waiting for me on the couch.

D: Jake

J: yeah

D: where did you go

J: I went on a drive with Anthony then talked to my brother.

D: I was worried

J: why I'm back 30 minutes early

D: I just was....were you crying

J: yeah let's not talk about that please

D: okay well I'm gonna head to bed

J: me too

Me and Denis both go upstairs but he notices that I walk into the guest room instead of my actual room. But didn't say anything.

I take a shower, get in my pajamas, and laying bed staring at the ceiling, thinking about the same thing that I have thinking about all day. Let's just say I didn't go to sleep at all that night.

*morning*

After no sleep and just laying in bed all night, I get up and clean myself and put on clothes. I just sit at the edge of the bed staring out of the window.

*talking to self*

J: my girlfriend hates me, the mother of my children hates me...this is my life right now.

Erikas Pov
I wake up in the morning and throw up. Then I clean myself up and lay back down.

*2 hours later*
I wake up to Mack and Sunny knocking on my bedroom door... I open the door and let them in and we sit on my bed.

S: soooo do you know the gender?

E: I do we are having 2 boys and 1 girl.

M: triplets oh my god

S: wait where's Jake

E: he probably hasn't woken up yet.

M: that's weird he usually wakes up hours before you.

E: I guess not today

S: and don't you think he would be sleeping in here.

E: no he slept in the guest room last night.

S: why

E: because I hate him now

M: why

E: he's a lier

S: what did he do

E: I was worried about him and I kept asking him what was wrong and he kept saying he was fine when I know he wasn't.

D: Erika

I look at my doorway to see my dad who was standing there this whole time. And he's serious right now because he called me Erika

E: yeah

D: Jake woke up no not even woke up, he didn't sleep last night at all and he locked himself in the guest room.

E: okay and?

D: did you ever think that he was trying to stay strong for you, he cut his dad out of his life for you, wakes up everyday at 6am to hold your hair back for when you throw up every morning, barely gets to see his brother because he's with you, helping you, the kid barely gets 2 hours of sleep a night because he's worried about you. And you hate him, seriously Erika think.

E:...

D: at about 5am I heard you crying in your sleep so I went to check on you but Jake stood outside of the door and hummed your favorite song until you stopped. That kid loves you more than anything in the world and you treat him like this. I'm very disappointed in you.
