Once upon a time, there was a brave animal-talker. Who lived in the woods, he would always help the ones in need. One day the village closest to him was falling apart, the King didn't care any attention to what was happening in his Kingdom. And the animal-talker was going to stop him.
The King was no other than Melphiles, the Kingdom was falling under his rule. No one dared to stop him, because of the power he possessed. Until that one night, when a millions of animals followed by Jace (the animal-talker) entered the castle.
Jace wanting to stop the Evil King started fighting him and his knights, until only him and the King where left.
The King fell on his knees, begging for mercy and letting him live. Jace agreed only if he would become good, and made sure that his descendants will rule this land fairly as well.
Not liking the idea too much the King agreed, and his promise was kept until 1000 years later. Where his descended Fiona the Fox wanted to get revenge!
