Chapter 7: Secrets

Shane's POV.

It was lunch time and me and Tyler sat at a table alone. We started to eat lunch and Zoe and Alfie sat next to us.

Zoe: Hey Shane.

Shane: Hey.

Zoe: So who's the boy with the shiny purple hair?

Shane: Oh this is Tyler, my boyfriend.

Tyler: Hey!

Zoe: Hi I'm Zoe, and this is my boyfriends Alfie.

Alfie: Hey.

Shane: So why are you guys sitting with us?

Alfie: Well we usually sit alone too, and we saw you guys sitting alone. So we thought we could all sit alone.

Shane: Oh. I thought you guys sat with Joey.

Zoe: No, he ditched us for Anthony and Sawyer. He's one of them now.

Tyler: He's the guy that beat up my Shane.

Zoe: What? Joey beat you?

Shane: Yea, yesterday. But Tyler saved me.

I looked at Tyler and we smiled at each other. I held his hand and I then moved my hand to his thigh. He grabbed it again and I looked back at Zoe.

Zoe: You guys look cute together..

Shane: Yea, Yea.

Alfie: I heard he did drugs with his little new gang. Also, he's the new leader of the little group.

Tyler: Really?

Alfie: Yea, he and Sawyer got really high one night, but it's all rumors, you never know if it's true.

Joey doing drugs? It couldn't be true, he was such a nice person that just wanted to be popular. Well he said he would do anything to not be a gay loser.

Zoe: Well guys after school we should all hang out at my house. We can play truth or dare. Also some pizza.

Shane: Pizza? I'm sold.

Tyler: Ah! Count me in, daddy wants some pizzzzzaaa!

Zoe: Great!

I looked over to Joey who was making out with Meghan. I rolled my eyes and turned to Tyler. Joey was trying to hard to be straight. He told everyone he broke his hand from lifting weights, and he had to wear a bandage. But in reality, he cut himself because of me. Anthony looked over to me. I knew he was going to walk over here, so why not give him a show.

I grabbed Tyler's neck and slammed my lips into his. I heard people gasp, including Anthony and Joey. Anthony walked over to us, but I didn't stop.

Anthony: Hey gay boy, I see you got a boyfriend.

I pulled away from Tyler and looked at Anthony, straight in the eye. I was tired of getting beat up. I stood up and got in his face.

Shane: So what?! Are you going to beat me again?

Anthony: Watch it gay boy!

Shane: Gay boy? Before you call someone a gay boy, why don't you find the gay boy in your little group. I think you have a little secret gay boy undercover.

Anthony: What do you mean?

Shane: We'll talk after school.

I don't know what came over me, I never had the courage to stand up to him. I sat back down and Tyler kissed my cheek and smiled.
