Saving Joey.. (A Shoey Fanfiction)

Chapter 14: Acceptance.

Joey's POV.

A few hours later we cuddling on Shane's bed. Just us, looking in each other's eyes, enjoying this Saturday.

Ring, Ring, Ring

I reached over to my phone and looked at it. It was Anthony. I decided to lie to Shane and talk to him.

Joey: It's my mom. I got to take this. Be right back baby.

I kissed his cheek, walking away to the kitchen, answering the phone.

Anthony: Hey!

Joey: Hey!

Anthony: Guess what bro?!

Joey: What?

Anthony: Kalel thought it was me that slept with her and now she's my girlfriend! And I slept with her today.

Joey: Cool! Lucky!

I acted like I was jealous. Acting straight.

Anthony: So you still with Meghan?

Joey: I don't know. If not I'm sure I'll find another b*tch, man.

Again. Acting straight.

Anthony: Well talk to you later, I got a girlfriend to attend to. Bye.

I hung up. I walked back to Shane who was laying shirtless with only sweatpants on, same as me. I put my phone on the bed next to me. He looked my abs and licked his lips. I ran over to him and instantly began to kiss him. We faced each other, laying down and slowly kissing each other. He cupped my face and it turned into a french kiss. He stopped and I whined at the loss.

Shane: Joey? Do you really love me?

I grabbed his waist, pulling him closer.

Joey: Oh course I do! I love you so much that I could scream it from rooftops.

He blushed and he bit his finger, looking innocent but so adorable.

Shane: I love you too. Every time I'm around you, my heart stops. Then beats faster and faster.

I could myself blush and he cuddled next to me, caving his head in my neck. I pulled out my phone and took of us cuddling.

Shane: Why did you take a photo?

Joey: Because I want to remember this moment forever.

He laughed a bit then gave a small peck on my neck. Every inch of out bodies touching. The feeling was like nothing else. There was to much love in the feeling that words cannot even describe it. It was something that you had to feel for yourself. And the word love wasn't even enough powerful word to describe it. I was truely in love with him. But why was I so scared to publicly tell everyone I was dating him.

Joey: And I wanted a picture for my phone background.

He laughed again this time, I did too. Nothing would ever come between us. Nothing.

Shane's POV

A few seconds later we heard a door slam and footsteps running up the stairs. I guess my mom came home early from work. The bedroom door opened and we sat up.

S Dad: Oh hey son and his boyfriend.

I sighed and shook my head, I knew what was going to happen next.

Shane: Hey dad.

S Dad: What's your name by the way?

Joey: Joey Graceffa, sir.

Joey tried to be nice, not trying to start a fight or something worse. He sat in the chair at my desk and looked at us. I closed my eyes, waiting for him to say something rude or beat me.

S Dad: Shane..

Shane: Yes?..

I felt someone touch me and I knew that I was getting beat today. Instead I felt a warm hug and I opened my eyes. My dad was hugging me. What?!

S Dad: I'm so sorry, son. I accept you.

What the f**k?! Is he drunk? But he seems sober. I began to cry and he let go then went over to Joey hugging him too. A cried in relief but I also cried of happiness. I wiped away the tears and he sat back in the chair.

S Dad: Shane I was a asshole to you and no father should ever do that. I've been thinking for a while and have finally come to terms with you being gay. I do still drink but promise to not hurt you anymore when I'm drunk.

I nodded my head and Joey rubbed my back trying to stop me from crying.

S Dad: I see you two are having fun in bed so here take this.

He took a small card from his wallet and gave it to me. I looked at the card and it was a coupon for some s*x shop. I laughed and looked at him.

S Dad: It's none of my business but it's a interesting place to shop. I love you son. And welcome to the family, Joey.

He hugged me one last time and walked out of the room. I gave the card to Joey and his eyes grew wide. I laughed at his reaction to looking at the card.

Joey: Shane...

Shane: What?

Joey: We got to use this card.

I was surprised he said the opposite of what I thought he was going to say. I wiped the tears away and we laughed at the thought of us using the coupon. We laid back down and I kept on crying. He wiped my tears away, stroking my cheek.

Joey: Shhh.. It's okay, baby.

Shane: Joey after many years of beatings and torture. I can finally not worry about sucking your d**k when my dad's home and getting caught.

He laughed and I smiled. I leaned in closer to his lips, our lips almost touching-

Ring, Ring, Ring

He pulled away and I frowned at the loss. I looked at his phone from a far and noticed Anthony was calling. He looked at it and sighed. Don't you dare pick up that phone Joey. I thought to myself. He picked it up and looked at me.

Joey: I'll be back. It's my mom.

He lied. I saw Anthony's name on the phone. I didn't say anything and sighed. Does he really love me?

Shane: Can I have a kiss first?

Joey: It will only be a second, but save it for me when I get back.

He walked out of the room, answering the phone. He lied to me and didn't give me a kiss. Is he cheating on me? NO? He wouldn't. Or would he? He promised he wouldn't talk to him anymore. Something was going on here and I needed to know. A single tear fell down my cheek. I knew loving Joey would be a mistake. A stupid one in fact. He took my heart. Just unkiss me.
