Chapter 19: Boyfriends

Joey's POV.

Joey: How do you know?

She wiped the tears away and hugged me.

Kalel: I saw you in the hallway today. I saw the way you looked at him, Joey. You love him.

I looked down. She was right. I let go of her and rubbed her stomach, smiling a bit. Something about having a child, make you smile.

Kalel: I'm also breaking up with Anthony today.

Joey: What?

I stop rubbing her belly, looking at her confused. Why would she do that? She loved him. Didn't she?

Kalel: I have a feeling when the baby comes, Anthony is going to try to replace you as the father and plus I don't like him that much.

I hugged her one last time. And she whispered.

Kalel: But you need to promise me something?

I let her go, staring into her eyes.

Joey: What? I'll do anything?

Kalel: Get Shane back.

She nodded her head and looked at her. She was right. I need Shane! I need his love, his voice, and his kisses. The way she looked at me was like I was a idiot for letting him go. I knelt down and kissed her belly. Me and Kalel didn't have any feeling towards each other. We were just two parents who wanted to take care of a future child.

Joey: Wish me luck little one.

I stood back up and smiled.

Joey: Thanks Kalel, your the best.

I started running to Shane's house and I heard her yell.

Kalel: Go get him Joey!

I laughed. I ran to a pharmacy and grabbed some flowers. I bought a bouquet of roses and quickly ran to his house. I walked up the the door and knocked. I hope this goes well. I will do anything to have him in my arms again.

Shane's POV.

I was eating dinner with my mom and dad. She cooked steak, which was my favorite. Before I could take a bite into it, the door bell rang. I was texting Connor at the table. He was cute. But he was straight. Maybe I could change that.

Mom: I'll get it, dear. It's probably the mail man.

I took a bite and started to eat. But I heard loud footsteps coming closer to me. I looked up and found Joey standing there, with a bunch of red roses. I stood up and walked over to him, putting my phone in my pocket. I shook my head, why would he come here? I told him to stay away from me.

Shane: What do you want?

My voice sounding harsh. My dad and mom watched from the dinner table. I looked into his eyes, they were full of regret, but a little lust in them.

Joey: Shane. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. I'm a complete a**hole, I'm selfish, and I suck... I never should have slept with her, I was drunk...

Shane: Joey. I can't...

He started to cry a bit. The tears welling up in his eyes. A tear ran down my face as well.

Joey: I'm sorry for hurting you, for beating you, for taking your virginity, and for making you lie to everyone about our relationship. A

I was full on crying now and so was he. His voice sounding soft from his crying.

Shane: God dammit.

Joey: What happened with Kalel, meant nothing to me. And so what if I'm a father at 15. Life without you has been horrible. And I hate my life, but god I don't hate you.

He shook his head. And I sighed.

Shane: I don't hate you either.

I wiped the tears away and his tears fell to the ground. His eyes said it all. He was truly sorry. My mom and dad had their mouths open, shocked at what was happening. Joey stepped closer to me, putting his hand on my cheek. The feeling of him touching me, made me wince. He looked into my eyes, I was falling for him. He put his lips to mine. I had fallen for him again! What was I doing!

I pulled away and slapped him across the face. He looked at me in shock. I instantly felt the guilt and yelled.

Shane: Joey! Next week were going to do this again. And your never going to love me! You care to much about popularity than me!

Joey: It's not true! I'll come out! I want to be with you, Shane... Forever.

We stared into each other's eyes again. I shook my head. He wouldn't love me. Once that baby comes, he'll leave me. I know it! I was sure of it.

Shane: That's bullsh*t!

I let my feelings control me and I attached my lips to his. I grabbed the roses and through them on the couch. I kissed him passionately and he pushed my up against the back of the couch. I was sitting on the back of the couch and my hand at the back of his neck, pushing him into my kiss. I stopped and we breathed heavily. I looked down and we met each other's gaze, with our forehead's pressed together.

Joey: God I hate you so f**king much.

Shane: I hate you too.

His hand reached down to my thigh and picked me up. I put my lips back to his and kissed with my force than ever. My legs wrapped around his waist. He started to carry me upstairs and I saw a glimpse of my parents mouths hanging so low that they touched the ground. He laid my on the bed and began kissing my neck. Before we took of our clothes or anything. He looked at me smiling and I smiled back.

Joey: Your beautiful you know that?

I didn't reply. Finally this lust turned into love. I blushed a bit and he giggled.

Joey: I love you so much.

Shane: I love you too.

He bit his lip and I looked down, trying to look cute. Apparently it worked and he giggled again.

Joey: Shane? Will you be boyfriend?

Instead of replying, I kissed him. All slow and full of love. The feeling gave me butterfly's in my stomach. I pulled away and nodded my head. I finally realized it, all that stuff about me wondering if he will leave me again was stupid.

Shane: Does that answer your question?

He smirked and kissed me again. He began striping our clothes and kissing all over my body, leaving marks, claiming he was mine. He was mine and I was his. I couldn't worry about the future and if he would ever leave me again. I was living in the past and wondering if he will treat me badly again, like he did before. And If you take a step into the past, your missing a f**king foot.
