"H- Husband?!" A part of Jaeun's mother couldn't believe that her beloved daughter had actually done something like this behind her back. She was partially happy of course, because to her, any other man would've just left her the moment she would've told him about her pregnancy. Though, she wasn't aware that they had both kind of been forced to marry by the CEO of SM.
On the other hand, her father was not happy at all. His ONLY daughter was not only pregnant, but MARRIED. He and his wife had only been gone for a couple of months... should they not have travelled? Would all this perhaps not have happened if they had not gone aborad? Those questions kept repeating inside his head. "HOW CAN YOU BE MY DAUGHTER'S HUSBAND?" Without meaning to, his voice grew louder and louder as he spoke, making him seem quite intimidating to Taemin. The last thing he wanted was for her father to be this mad at him. "Jaeun, explain to me please. I don't understand- how could this have happened?" Her father's voice was still loud, but there was now a hint of sadness in it. Was he really this upset about it all? What father wouldn't though? Perhaps... not to the extent that Jaeun's father was going to take it though.
"Dad, I already explained to you both." Jaeun began. "It was all an accident, but... we're taking responsibility." Taemin's gaze moved over to him, and he smiled slightly.
Surprisingly, for each day that went by, he seemed to fall more and more in love with the girl beside him. They had started off as enemies, but as time went by, they were becoming closer and closer. He just hoped it would last.
As Taemin looked at Jaeun, her father's eyes had narrowed. He was furious. How could this disgusting man look like that at his daughter? He hated it. To him, this behaviour was disgusting. Without thinking, he quickly pounced onto Taemin, making his wife shriek out in terror. Jaeun was standing as if she had been frozen in time. This was NOT happening. She hurriedly turned towards the door, and almost ran towards it to alert the others. "K- Key, Minho- you guys- Please get security- my dad-" And as if on cue, both her father and Taemin fell to the floor. Jonghyun was the first one to react. He quickly got out his phone, and dialed the building's security number. At this point, they were all completely stressed, and Jaeun's father was not letting go of Taemin. Oh, this was bad.
"DAD, let go of him-!" She had started yelling at her father. She was too afraid to approach them though. She couldn't bear the thought of her father hitting her, even if on accident. She just hated it, and didn't want anything like that to happen.
Her father's hands were tightly wrapped around Taemin's neck, and her mother was desperately trying to pry his hands away from the young man's throat. As security finally came, they harshly grabbed him, and dragged him off of Taemin, which thankfully made him able to breathe again. His lungs finally filled with fresh air, and the crazy man of a father was finally off of him. "T- Tae- are you okay?!" The other SHINee members aswell as Jaeun's moher were standing there and watching as Jaeun spoke. "Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about it." Taemin carefully rubbed his neck. There were now bright red marks where her fathers hands had been squeezing him. It was hurting badly, but it was thankfully not restricting his breathing.
"I'LL SUE YOU! I'LL SUE YOUR ENTIRE COMPANY FOR PUTTING OUR DAUGHTER TO SHAME!" And that was the last thing her father yelled, before he was dragged off to get thrown out of the building. Her mother immediately followed him, not even apologizing for what her husband had done. "Taemin, I'm so sorry... I'm so, so sorry." Her voice was shaking, as tears started rolling down her cheeks. She had had some kind of hope for the meeting. Hope, that her parents would understand. But they didn't. Her father had even attacked Taemin. This was all so horrible.
"Hey, don't cry." Taemin scooted closer to her, and gently wrapped his arms around her. He didn't hate her at all anymore. Not due to this whole situation, and not for how she had been acting before. The only thing that mattered to him at this moment, was to make her feel better. "It's okay, it's okay..." Placing a soft kiss onto her temple, he pulled her a little closer to himself. As tears continued streaming down her face, she started bawling after a while. Key had motioned to the others to get out for the time being, to let the couple have some privacy, for now atleast.
Taemin carefully laid his head on top of hers. His arms were holding her against him, trying to comfort her. It seemed to help a little thankfully. After a short while, her bawling had quieted down enough for her to be able to talk. "Taemin, I didn't think that he would do anything like this." Allthough her voice was shaky, Taemin could clearly understand what she was saying. "It's truly fine, Jaeun. I'm not blaming you for anything that has happened." Jaeun opened her eyes slightly, and caught a glimpse of the still red marks on his neck. Her eyes had previously been filled with tears, so it had been kind of difficult to see them. "H- hey, is your neck okay?" Taemin slowly nodded, tightening his grip around her a little. He didn't want to let go of her just yet. It was... comforting to have her close.
"I love you."
