HATE (Taemin fanfic)

Chapter 15

«I love you»
Those were the three words that left Taemin's lips, as he held around Jaeun. He gently stroked her hair, trying to make the smaller female calm down, as tears continued streaming down her cheeks.
«I... love you too.»

Weeks had passed since the incident with Jaeun's parents. The mark on Taemin's neck was gone at this point, and he was more than happy that it was. He hadn't been allowed on anything while his neck had been healing, which definetly bummed him out. And the mark had for some reason been healing so slowly.

Jaeun's stomach had also grown larger by the time that had passed. It always made her wonder how her stomach managed to keep growing like that. Before she had gotten pregnant, she had wondered if it hurt, the growing. There were other things that were hurting, like her back, but her stomach seemed to be alright. It had also become a lot harder for her to move.

Jaeun was seated in front of both Key and Onew. They were both focusing on their phones. Key was reading something, while Onew was playing some game. Jaeun was bored, as she hadn't been able to do anything at all. Taemin, Minho and Jonghyun were filming some variety show, so they were busy, Key and Onew seemed to be busy aswell... she just didn't want to do anything alone. And thoughts kept bothering her aswell. Her doctor had told her that she would feel the baby kick soon, but she wasn't feeling anything despite how far along she was. 25 weeks, and just nothing. Not even any movements, and it was bothering her greatly.

"Kibum...?" She mumbled softly, which made both Key and Onew look up. "... I'm 25 weeks pregnant, right? But why am I not feeling the baby kick...? Shouldn't I be able to feel it at this point?" 

Key thought for a second, before he finally looked back at his phone. But he was writing something, or more precisely, searching for something. "Well, um, I'm no midwife- midman? midwife? I don't know, but it says here that it depends really. You're a first-time mom, so you might end up feeling it later and stuff." He explained it to her quite simply, which she appreciated. It was nice of him. "That's what this website says anyways."

Jaeun nodded her head slightly and looked down at her stomach. When would she feel the baby then?

After a while, she decided to stand up and walk around for a while. She just felt so restless and bored. Just as she stood up though, the three of them heard noises coming from the hallway, signaling that the others had returned. "WE'RE HOME!" Their suspicions were proven once Minho yelled loudly that they were indeed home.  He hurried inside the living room to tackle Onew, which made Onew pretty annoyed to say the least. "hEY, be careful-" Onew whined and pouted, because Minho's attack had caused him to lose the game.

"Hey, you guys!" Taemin and Jonghyun finally entered aswell. Taemin was smiling brightly when he saw Jaeun, and walked over to hug her. "Hey, I have something that I got you. Just come to our bedroom and I'll give it to you!" Taemin whispered into her ear, and smiled cutely at her once he had pulled away. It constantly surprised her when Taemin was nice to her, or if he was acting cute. She was still used to the times when they had fought. It was a fantastic change nevertheless.

After a while, Jaeun noticed how Taemin slipped out of the room, and assumed it was time for her to get out too. She quickly exited the room, and walked to their shared bedroom. "So, what did you wanna give me?" Jaeun wondered when she entered the room. Taemin was already seated on the bed. He was holding a tiny bag of some sort in his left hand, which made Jaeun wonder what it could be. And what's with the gift buying all of a sudden? "here, hold out your hand!" he said and giggled. Once she did, he carefully put the little bag into her hand. "I just suddenly felt really generous and stuff, so that's why I decided to buy you that!"

Inside the bag, was a tiny box. She gently grabbed it, and pulled it out before opening it. Opening it, had revealed a silver ring with a tiny heart engraved onto it. "W- woah!" Her eyes widened at the gift. She hadn't expected anything like this! "It's kind of because we had to get married in such a hurry and all." He mumbled softly, and gently lifted her hand up to carefully slide the ring onto her finger. Jaeun looked down at her hand, and smiled. It was a beautiful ring. And it was such a nice gift. "Thank you!" she said and let her gaze fall onto Taemin who was still seated beside her.

Before Taemin could say anything, Jaeun suddenly... felt something in her stomach. Her eyes widened and a shocked gasp escaped her lips. 

"T- Taemin!"

A/N: Hello, yes, this is actually so soft and I was highkey melting while writing this UWU- and also... sorry for being such a lazy person and never updating :') I know that I say this every update, but I will fr try to get better at updating!!!
