"Riley?" He was the first thing I heard behind a blurry blink and that never ending beeping noise.

"Jahseh?" His face read worry, Looking down at my gown. I was confused and scared once I noticed the room I was in.

My index finger was surround by plastic connecting by a clear tube connected to a dripping bag.

Feeling Jahseh's hands put a strain of hair in the back of my ear.

"I was so scared you have no idea" He seems to sigh once he seated himself hold my hand in his.

"I was so scared" He repeats before digging his head into our locked hands.

There were gentle sobs coming from him. My other hand manages to comfort him.

"Jahseh" he shoots his face to me with watery tight eyes. "I'm sorry".

This was all my fault, He shakes his head before sniffing loudly.

"I should've done something, I should've known" He was beginning to beat himself up again.

He hovers over my before kissing m forehead lightly, "I promise from now on I'm not going to let the littlest thing slide".

He places a smile on my face although I felt scared and gloomy on the inside.

"When I was 13 I blew out these birthday candles and wished for my death by the age of 18" Silence surrounded the small room.

"I'm beginning to regret it, I need to protect you" That's when Stokeley came in the room causing Jahseh to show a small smile.

A bouquet of flowers were surrounded by a tight grip, "Hey Riley" Stokeley hovered over me before pecking my cheek.

"Thank you, They look so pretty" Stokeley enjoyed my compliment before sitting on the other side of me.

Stokeley chucked at Jahseh's goofiness, "You know, You can't make make random words out of every sentence".

"Your aunt hasn't showed" Stokeley realizes I smile to myself, "I know".

Jasmine was afraid of hospitals, She thought of them as a curse. She's never been ok after she's visited the hospital.

"It seems to me as if it hasn't even been created yet" Jahseh was happy and excited about the random word he had came up with due to my sentence.
