Nolan pov
I hear multiple people scream "what?!" into the intercoms. That just made my anxiety worse. I glance towards Alec who is still caught up in some girl. I roll my eyes. Teens. No one I know was that bad. I turn back to see Gabe next to me I jump.
"G-Gabe?" I swallow. "How are you alive? I saw you die?"
He sighs and looks down. "I'm a vampire."
"I figured," I admitted, letting my guard down mostly. I turn off my com.
He looks back up at me with his beautiful brown eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm so fucking sorry Nolan. Man I messed up so bad. I fucking listened to her and I ended up dying. If one of the hunters, who actually was secretly a vampire, didn't sneak his blood into my drink, I'd be a hundred percent dead."
I look up at him. "Why didn't you come to me? Why didn't you come back?"
He takes a deep breath, looking terrified. "Because I was scared. I was scared you would hate me if I did. Being a vampire is different then a werewolf, we drink blood for gods sake!" He starts to tear up. "I killed someone the first time I drank blood, Nolan. But, the vamp who turned me said I was lucky, other vampires are rippers. They have no control at all. What I've been doing is stealing blood bags. It's better than killing. Before I gained control over the blood lust, I was afraid that I'd kill you."
I sigh and smile softly at him. I put my hand on his cheek. "We would've helped."
He leans into my touch, putting his hand on mine. He then looks at me confused. "We?"
"Yea." I smiled sheepishly. "The McCall pack. I'm kinda part of it now. We're looking for Monroe."
He looks surprised and smiles softly at me. "You too? I've been trying to find her since I got some control."
I nod. Then, I notice Marcel walk in with a girl, probably Cami's friend. I walk up to him bringing Gabe. "Marcel! I need to speak to you for a moment."
He looks at me and Gabe. "Just give me a minute."
I nod and tell him that we'll be sitting down. I pick up my com. and turn it back on. I flinch at the screams into the com. Most of it is about me.
"Guys!" I yell into the intercom. They all calm down. I take a deep breath. "Gabe is with me right now. He's a vampire. A hunter who was actually a vampire gave him his blood that day, so when he died he became a vampire. He didn't come to us because he was scared we would hate him." I look at him. "He was also scared that he would hurt me."
I hear Scott sigh. "Okay. Let's just do what we were here to do. Later bring him home, Nolan. And where the hell is Alec? He's not on the com."
I look up to see Alec still flirting. I sigh. "He's flirting with some girl."
"Alright just keep an eye on him, okay?" Scott asks.
"Okay." I take my hand off the com. I notice that Gabe was staring at me. "What?"
  "Nothing," he says nonchalantly.
Marcel comes up to us. "Nolan. What's going on?"
I gesture to Gabe. "This is Gabe. We all thought he was dead and he's a vamp. He's looking for Monroe as well. She's at fault for him getting shot," I turn to him questioningly.
  "8," Gabe provides.
I turn back to Marcel. "8 times. He'll help."
"Okay." Marcel puts his hand out for Gabe to shake and Gabe takes it. "I have a number one rule you can't break. No killing vampires." Gabe nods understanding that this vamp is older and stronger than him. Marcel pats him on the back and turn to Nolan. "You might want to ask that witch friend of yours to get him a daylight ring, seeing that he doesn't have one." He then leaves.
I turn back to Gabe. "Yeah. We're gonna have to do that. You also might want to drink some vervain."
Gabe looks alarmed. "Vervain! It's poisonous."
"I know. But in little doses you can prevent an original compelling you," I tell him.
He looks confused. "Who are the originals?"
"They're the first ever vampires," I answer. "They are a thousand years old."
  "Ohh. Cool."
We talk about pointless things for the rest of the night. At around 3 am Scott texts the group chat that we should come back home. I get up and Gabe follows me. I call Alec and the three of us head home.
When we get there, everyone else is already at the house, including Stiles.
Theo stands up and Gabe visibly tenses.
"Relax Gabe," Scott assures. Liam pulls Theo back down. "We just wanna hear what happened."
Gabe nods and sits in a chair next to me. He takes a deep breath fiddling with his hands. I put his hands in mine and he looks up at me and gives me a gentle smile. He looks towards the two packs and I let go of his hands. "Okay. So I had died in the hospital. That was the last thing I remembered before I woke up in a dark room. I was on a bed that wasn't mine and my head was pounding. I had gotten up and tried to remove the curtains but the sun bothered my eyes and slightly burned. Then a hunter that worked for Monroe came into the room. He had explained to me that I was turning into a vampire. In 24 hours I had to drink blood or I would die. He told me he was the vampire who turned me. I then remembered what had happened recently and I felt instantly guilty. For hurting all of you." He looks up at me then quickly looks back. "I had put it in the back of my mind because I had to deal with what was happening in that moment. So I listened to him tell me about being a vampire. I didn't think I could trust him because of the sinister smile he had. My first thought after he explained everything to me was to let myself die. He had a different plan. When I told him my plan he left and came back with a girl he compelled. He bit her and almost drained her of blood. He then threw her into my arms. I became blinded from blood lust by the smell of blood and the blood dripping from her neck. I bit her and drained her from the rest of her blood." He looked down ashamed.
Scott looks at him. "Gabe." Gabe looks up at him, eyes filled with unshed tears. "Tell the rest of what happened please."
Gabe nods and takes another shaky breath. "I had realized what I did when she dropped on the floor. I looked up at the other vampire and he looked so proud. The only thought in my head was to get out of there. So I did I ran, with super speed." He chuckles. "I ran into more then a few walls. Thankfully it was night so I didn't burn in the sun. He tried to chase me but I got away. I went from motel to motel. I actually stole a car and some blood bags from hospitals I came across. It was hard at first. Keeping shades drawn and making sure to keep track of time. I had to steal a few necessities, aka compel. I did this for clothes, blood bags, motel rooms, the car, and to get out of situations with cops, such as speeding tickets to get out of the sun. I also compelled a computer and began to keep tabs on everyone and Monroe. It was so hard to see my parents morning over me on social media. It was so hard not to turn back and go to Beacon Hills. I was too scared I would hurt someone I cared about. After a few months I found out Monroe was coming here. I was already going to come here because of the vampires. So I came. Killed two birds with one stone, right?" All of us are quiet absorbing the information he gave us.
Selma is the first to recover. She gets up and turns to Gabe. "I guess you'll be wanting a daylight ring, correct?"
Gabe looks surprised. "Seriously?"
Selma nods smiling. "Yea. Come on let's pick a ring."
The two leave the room to pick a ring and put the spell on it.
Scott looks at the rest of us. "I think we should give him another chance."
Almost everyone agrees surprisingly.
Gabe and Selma came back into the room. Gabe was wearing his daylight ring.

"You picked a cool ring," I complemented when he plumped down next to me

"You picked a cool ring," I complemented when he plumped down next to me.
He smiled brightly. "You think?"
"Yeah."
We get lost in each other's eyes for way to long before Alex clears her throat, making both of us look away, our cheeks burning red. "Uh Gabe. You should go get your stuff from your motel."
Gabe nods and leaves. The pack gives me knowing looks but decide not to say anything.
Gabe comes back a couple minutes later and Stiles gets a call. The other person is Klaus and they are obviously arguing.
When Stiles ends the call, he sighs and turns to the rest of us. "I have to go okay. Klaus is freaking out. He's grown quite attached so. I'm gonna go." He rushes out and yells, "see you guys later!" The rest of us laugh at his antics.
Theo turns to Gabe. "I can teach you how to use your senses properly."
Gabe gives him a smile and nods. "Thank you." He turns to all of them. "All of you."
Scott yawns. "No problem. I think it would be best for all of us to rest for now."
We all nod and head to bed.

Stiles pov
I walked back to the house only to be grabbed by Klaus. I didn't notice anyone else in the house.
"Where did you go?!" Klaus yells at me.
"Home! Klaus, I went home." He lets go.
He looks down at the ground. "Hayley was attacked."
"What? Is she okay?" I asked alarmed.
"She's fine." He looks back up at me. "Why didn't you tell me where you were going?" He watches his feet.
I sigh. "Klaus. Listen, I'm not your child or your property. I don't have to tell you where I'm going. If you were worried you could've called of texted me. Calmly." I put my and on his cheek, making him look up at me. "I understand that you want control but," I shrug, "sometimes control is overrated. You're trying so hard to be in control again. You don't really want power. You want control."
His eyes drift towards my lips then back at me. "How are you so smart?"
  "It's a gift," I answer, smirking.
He then smashes our lips together. I kiss back eagerly. I jump and wrap my legs around his waist, with him supporting me. He speeds us up to his room and shuts the door. I knew the night was far from being over.
