Chapter 4

Third pov
"How the hell are you still alive?" The first man asks Alex.
"I believe it has something to do with the 'I will become immortal' thing. But other than that I have no idea," is what Alex says to answer him.
Just then a demonic figure steps into the classroom. The moment Alex notices it she takes a step back.
   "Relax Alex please. I do not wish to hurt you," the figure tells her.
"Then why were you in my dream?"
"It was because you told me to, 20 years ago, if things went wrong."
"20 years ago?! I just turned 14 yesterday!"
"Alex you may not-"
The first man cuts off the figure. "Who the hell do you think you are?! I'm supposed to gain her power," he turns to his men, "Back me up now."
All the men surround Alex and the figure.
"Ugh men," the figure says as it snaps it's fingers. The other three men drop. "Now you-" the figure points to the first man-"need to think about the way you speak to me. I am much older and much more dangerous then you." The man begins to drop to his knees. The figure continues, "The ritual you performed is not a power transfer. It is a completion of the reincarnation of an immortal like Alex here-"
This time Alex cuts the figure off, "Immortal!? Excuse me if I don't believe you."
"That is to be expected, but if you are not immortal, how do you explain you living right now without your heart?"
Those words leave Alex speechless.
"Exactly." The figure turns back to the man. "As I was saying, the ritual is the completion of the reincarnation of an immortal, although it does give power to some people who witnessed it." The man becomes unconscious and the figure turns back to Alex. "The people here are Selma, Joseph, Kristen, Dmitry, Phoebe, and Andruw. That is who you gave power to. Now here is a book with the information you need and goodbye."
    The figure disappears in a split second while dropping a book in Alex's hands.
    "What the fuck?!" The seven teens with newfound powers say.
