Chapter 27

Alex's pov
  It's been a couple days and Theo told me he's been avoiding the mermaids and merman like an expert. He also told everyone they have an idea about what we are. All I got from this is that I can swim now. So, that's what I decided to do.
  Swimming by Mako is amazing. It feels like home. Well, I don't really have a home but, this feels pretty damn close to one. I'm swimming when I notice a blue and orange tail. A mermaid and a merman. Me and Phoebe's tails are different because we're hybrids. I hide behind a rock in the water and peer over. It Zac and Evie. Wow I'm living for my otp. I chuckle to myself. They seem to go into some underwater cave but I decided to hide outside of it than follow.
  A minute or two later Ondina swims out, not taking notice of me. She lays on coral. I notice she's upset. I decide to swim up to her. Her eyes widen once she notices my blue tail and she looks at me confused. I gesture for her to enter the underwater cave, figuring that it was the entrance to the pool that Evie talked about. We swim into it.
She turns to me when we surface. "Who are you and why is your tail a different color?"
I chuckle. "The names Alex. I'm Theo's friend."
"Theo? Wolf boy Theo?" I nod. "Doesn't that mean your dangerous."
"My pack and I are dangerous," I inform. "But the McCall pack, Theo's pack, they won't hurt anyone."
"Why is your tail a different color?" She asks.
I sigh. "I'll explain another time. Now, why were you so upset."
A sad aroma surrounds her. "Erik saw my tail."
I nod slowly processing this. "Think about this. If he tells anyone, they would think that he's delusional."
"It's still a problem!"
Then we hear Mimmi swim into the pool. She looks between us and sees my tail. She points to me. "You're explaining this later." Then she turns to Ondina. "Ondina?"
Ondina sighs. "What's the first thing they tell us at mermaid school?"
"Don't show yourself to land people," Mimmi answers.
I move to let the two mermaid rest next to each other.
"Being a mermaid is our greatest secret. I broke the most important rule of all," Ondina says.
"It was an accident," Mimmi insures.
"You know that won't cut it with the mermaid council," Ondina argues. "Erik saw me. All of me. We should never have come here. I'm sorry I dragged you into this."
Mimmi shakes her head. "You're my best friend. I would have come anyway. What are you going to do?"
"Go back to the pod," she informs. "I have to tell them what happened. It's over, Mimmi."
I come into the conversation. "You shouldn't give up that easily."
They turn to me, suddenly remembering I was there. "What other option do I have?" Ondina asks.
"Talk to Erik. Or you could just kill him." They stare at me with wide eyes. I shrug. "I could kill him. Or Kristen could eat him." There eyes widen even more. "She's a vampire."
"We're not killing him!" Mimmi scolds.
I shrug. "So talk to him, Ondina. Most humans are understanding. Just be glad he isn't trying to kill you." With that I leave, swimming back home.
Later Scott, Theo, and I walk into the ocean cafe. We all see Sirena, Mimmi, Evie, and Zac sitting at a table. We walk up to them.
Theo speaks first. "I think it time we explained everything." They perk up. "But first we need to go to our house." They all nod. They call Ondina and she meets us. We also decided to bring Cam as well. We then bring them to our house.
We walk into the house and Scott calls everyone to the living room, while the others settle down.
Once everyone is settled Cam speaks. "Okay so we know that Theo is a werewolf but I don't think we fully understand anything."
"First, I think we should introduce ourselves," I suggest. They all nod. "I'm Alex Frost and I'm an alpha of my own pack. I'm basically a god. Powers kinda surround water."
Kristen raises her hand. "I'm Kristen." They back away in fear. She rolls her eyes and turns to me. "You told them I'm a vampire." I nod covering my mouth to hold back a laugh. She turns back to them. "Yes I'm a vampire. No I won't eat you. We steal blood bags. I'm part of Alex's pack and my powers surround the elements of light and darkness."
"My name is Joseph," Joseph introduces. "I'm a werewolf and my powers revolve around earth and nature."
Andruw goes next. "I'm Andruw and I'm a demigod. My powers are based on electricity." His hand sparks a little.
Dmitry waves like a mad man. "I'm Dmitry. I'm a dragon and my powers," his hand ignites, "are fire." His hand goes back to normal.
"I'm Phoebe and my powers revolve around air. Like Alex, I'm a mermaid." She thinks for a moment. "Our tails aren't the normal color because we are hybrids."
  They turn to Selma who has a vodka bottle in her hand. She nods to them as a greeting. "Selma. Witch. Powers based on mind and spirit." She takes another sip from the bottle.
  "My name is Scott McCall." He gestures to his pack. "I'm the alpha of the McCall pack." His eyes flash red. "I'm a werewolf."
  Liam raises his hand. "I'm Liam. I'm Scott's beta and I'm a werewolf."
  Liam nudges Theo to go. "You all know me. I'm Scott's beta and I'm a werewolf and former chimera."
  "I'm Nolan and I'm a former hunter, still human," Nolan introduces.
  "I'm Gabe." He shows his fangs. "And I'm a vampire. Newly turned." His teeth go back to normal.
  Alec looks up from his phone. "I'm Alec and I'm a werewolf." He continues to look at his phone.
  Corey waves sweetly. "My name is Corey and I'm a chimera."
  "I'm Mason and I'm human." Mason pull Corey closer. Can they get anymore adorable?
  Malia flashes her blue eyes. "The names Malia. I'm a werecoyote."
  Lydia squeezes Malia's hand. "I'm Lydia. I'm a banshee. That means I can sense when someone is going to die."
  "Hi. I'm Stiles," Stiles introduces. "I'm part nogitsune, part kitsune, and part werefox."
  They look at everyone in pure confusion.
  I decide to explain my pack. "Alright first off my pack are from a different universe. I," I gesture to myself, "am a multi dimensional being. I am death, patience, war, darkness, fear, ice, water, time, and more. I am also 48 billion years old. My sister is the only thing older than me. We are basically yin and yang." They all nod slowly. "I'm an immortal. A few years ago I decided to reincarnate myself. In this process I had lost all my memories. Then," I cross my legs, "when I turned fourteen I was murdered. It was during English class. They came in an on of the men stabbed me with a sword. He then ripped out my heart while another man slit my throat. I don't know from personal experience what happened after that but I heard that he chanted something in Latin. I then woke up and found out I was immortal and that he had tried to perform a transfer of power ritual thing. The spell turned out to just be the completion of the reincarnation of an immortal. My pack," I gesture to them, "were there and it activated part of there power. They are also kinda immortal. The only thing that can kill them is me."
"Woah," Cam mumbles.
I chuckle. "That's the shortened version." His eyes widen. "It's also why they are different elements." I turn to Scott. "Your turn."
He nods slowly. He takes a deep breath. "Okay so. Uh. Let's start with the color of the eyes. For most were-creatures, the color of your eyes justifies your status. Red means your an alpha. Yellow means you're a beta or omega that hasn't killed anyone innocent. Blue means you're a beta or an omega who has killed an innocent. To become a werewolf you need to be either born or bitten by an alpha." They all nod in understanding. "Any specific questions?"
  "What is Stiles? He said he was three separate things. What are all of those things?" Mimmi asks.
  Stiles sighs. "Well they are all fox related things. Werefox is basically just a werewolf except I can turn into a full fox. A kitsune is a fox as well but, I'm part thunder kitsune which means electricity stuff that I still can't control. A nogitsune is a dark kitsune. It feeds of pain and chaos. I was possessed by one when I was human. It's what made me what I am," he explained.
"Well," I clap and rub my hands together, "that's enough explaining for now. Time for you to go."
I begin to heed them out.
"Wait," Cam begins. "What about hunters?"
"Just be careful." I managed to get them all out of the house. "Bye!" I close the door on them and turn to the pack. "Night." I head to bed.
