Y/n's POV:

The speech went by fast. We were all told that we would be able to act like heroes on the streets to face villains, and to those who did not pass could take the exam once again in March. I looked back over to Shouto, whose face had guilt and determination all over it. I had over heard an earlier conversation right after I had turned away from Shouto before.

A few moments ago~

Yoarashi made his way over to Shouto looking down at him, Shouto looked up at him in curiosity. Surprisingly Yoarashi crashed his forehead into the earth as he bowed.

"I'M SO SORRY! YOU FAILED THE EXAM BECAUSE OF ME!" He exclained.

Shouto said, taken aback, "From the begininning this was a result of seeds that I had sown, so cut that out. You really gave it to me back there and it made me realize something."

"Todoroki, you failed?" Mina asked while coming up to him.

"I guess that the king has fallen." Mineta smirked. Shouto sent him a death glare soon afterwards which caused Mina to instinctively pull the small child away.

"Don't worry, I'll catch up real soon."

Present time~

We were then handed our Provisional Hero License, everyone was happy about this, especially a certain boy with green hair and tears strolling down his face. We were all excused after a very long day. I left the place with a smile, yet a heavy burden. I should look at things through Shouto's perspective right? He was put into a corner made by Yoarashi. So why am I so upset? Am I being selfish? My thoughts were caught off by the one I was just thinking about.

"SEE YOU LATER TODOROKI! I'LL SEE YOU IN MARCH, BUT I STILL DON'T REALLY LIKE YOU!" Yoarashi yelled, I only spared him a glace and walked right on by, in my right hand my hand bag, and in my left, my licence.

"Isn't this great Y/n?" I hear Eijiro say as he approach me. "We're now one step closer to becoming true heroes!"

"It is! Now you can become just like the hero you admire!" I say with a smile. But Eijiro saw something in my eyes that were saying a different story.

"Yeah..." He trailed off while looking into my e/c eyes. "Hey, come with me for a second."

Before I could reply, he grabbed my hand and took us back to the dorms before the others. He then took us into a room in the back of the building, a place nobody ever goes.

"Whats wrong, that's not the face someone makes when the basically become a hero?" He questions me.

"Um. Well...." I started hesitantly. "I made a promise with someone that we would become heroes together, but they ended up breaking that promise today."

   "It's Shouto right?"

    "Yeah."

"Listen to me Y/n, we both know how much of an idiot he was today, but didn't you see how sad he was afterwards? No sad isn't really the word... Guilty? I know that the last thing he would want to do to you is hurt you, so why don't you talk to him and make everything up with him before we get all busy again? Go hear his side of the story even if it's just, 'I messed up' because if he hones up to his mistakes, don't you think you should give him another chance and postpone the promise? Sorry if I'm being too involved in your guy's relationship, I just can't sit back and watch you two fall apart." He lectured. I listened, eyes wide while looking at my hands. He's right, when someone is able to know their mistakes and address them, that is when you know that they are mature enough to give another chance.
