A/n: This is sort of depressing btw, but it will get a bit more fluffy towards the end. I promise another chapter soon!

Nobody's POV

How long had it been since the fight? To Y/n it felt like an hour-- minutes, since she fought that cursed man she once considered her master. It all came back to them. Everything. The man, Kurama, had a terrifying quirk. To erase one's memories was like erasing an existence. At least that's what he did to Nori.

It was bad enough that she isolated herself in the hospital, but now Y/n couldn't eat or sleep with the thought of her favorite person dead. Yes, favorite person. As much as she wanted to love and care for Shouto, her lover, she couldn't. Every time someone touched her, her skin recoiled in disgust, remembering Nori's touch as he left her.

Trauma; Aizawa tried to help her, but she never leaved her room. Nobody knew what to do-- not even her former best friend Eijiro. He was distraught. The one he once loved was crumbling right before him, and yet he was mourning as well.

He remembered everything about Nori, and how he loved his little sister. How he trained with the red head, and how he taught Eijiro what he means to care for someone. How was he a man when someone who he looked up to just died as he watched? How?

All might couldn't bare it as well. For he wanted to help his daughter from this treacherous mourning state. It's what Nori would've wanted, for her to be happy. But how could he be happy if he lost a son.

   His son.

The memories of when he raised Nori along with Y/n came flooding back as well. How he protected his sister, and how he loved her. He was always there to make her laugh, to wipe her tears, and to get her through algebra in middle school. Even though Nori would groan to All Might about how difficult the Hero Course was, he never complained about Y/n. Because she was his light.

When he was depressed, she was there to wipe his tears, she was there to guide him along whenever he faced his problems. And when he found out that Y/n's new tutor was going to be that man. He couldn't bare it.

He could see it. The evil in Kurama. He saw the way he looked at his little sister-- like something to devour, to use. The way he deceived his parents as though they weren't heroes at all, just mere road blocks. The way he looked at Nori-- the murderous gaze that sent chills down his spine. Yet, no way was he going to let this man hurt his little sister. He was sworn to protect her as her older brother!

But in the battle field, he failed. She forgot everything, along with everyone else.

His dreams of becoming a hero perished as the one he wanted to see him no longer cared-- he wasn't even a memory in her mind. Nori, even though depressed and angry on the inside, wouldn't stop his chase to get her back. No way would he let her go alone in the dark world full of villains.

Against Kurama, it was a blind game. Kurama would always predict Nori's every move. Until Y/n began to enter the game.

Seeing her in the alley sparked something inside of him again-- as though his fire had been lit again. She was seeing him. She saw him.

Though it hurt hearing her curt tone, he knew he had to bare it. No matter what.

   Everyone. They all remembered.

   Even the parents.

They remembered earlier though, under the whims of Kurama, but they weren't under his watchful eye as much as Nori was.

   For they had a plan.

It was all until their son's death that they truly lost all morals and former incentives. With the drive of pure agony and hate, they swore to bring him back.
