Y/n's POV

It was unexpected. His face, the way his red eyes gleamed at us as two of his minions shot out from no where. Each slash they made against my skin, each punch they laid against my muscle, I wouldn't cry out.

   This pain was nothing.

After what I've been through, I feel like this is what everything led up to. Nori and I against the man who has dragged us down.

I moved my feet at the sudden twitch of their muscles against the wind. I felt their next move before they made it. Wind was my strong suit.

My attacks crushed their bones, shocking a boulder out of the ground to meet their face, or the wind to impact their body against the ground.

My teeth clenched together, in both anger and excitement. The fight has been wrapped around it's finger-- knowing it might be my last.

Nori suddenly grabbed one of the minion's face and slammed it against the ground, his golden eyes filled with rage.

"Well done, Twilight~" The man grinned, his crooked tooth showing.

All of the anger I once felt before came surging back when seeing his face. I didn't notice at the time that there were now a circle of cloaked figures surrounding him.

   Coward.

"Don't" Nori cut me off. "Listen, no matter what, you must not attack him. Got it?"

"What the hell do you mean Nori, he's the one who has our parents! He's the one who's been bothering us for so long! He ruined us!" I yelled, "Why can't I?"

"You don't know his quirk Y/n, you don't know a lot about him. I do. Let me handle him." His lips curled in disgust while staring at the white haired man a couple yards away. "I'm going to trust you with the underlings."

A knot formed in my stomach while looking at the cloaked villains. Their eyes gleaming with blood lust and anger.

   I can handle this.

"And no matter what." He sighed, his head turning towards mine, "Don't forget about us; the training, and everything I've ever told you."

"No way." I smiled at him, but it soon faded away as the wind distorted at the head underlings's movement.

The cloak flew off, revealing a large man with a scarred face. His eyes were black. Five of the other underlings ran beside him, hurdling right in our direction. I clenched my teeth again as I bolted in the other direction, curving my direction to the right. They followed me like anticipated-- leaving Nori alone with the man with white hair, whoever he was.

Nori's POV:

I could barely keep it together as I stared at him. Never, never would I forget his face. Even if I pleaded to the gods for hours.

The blood red eyes, and long white hair haunted my dreams.

How I yelled at my parents for hours to get him to leave. Why didn't they trust me? How could they?

But those doubts faded the moment he striked. The anger I felt toward my parents dissipated as he revealed his true colors. The evil man he was.

"It's nice to see you again, young Nori." His voice was raspy as always. I took a step forward, cracking my finger with my thumb.

"What brought this upon you." My voice was short.

"Just for old times sake. Y/n is getting quite big. I remember when she was so tiny, and how you yearned to protect her from me. You've always had such good instincts. It's a shame that you're parents didn't." His smile widened.
