Month One, Year One

11:10PM

Victoria was still bent over as one of her hands latched tight to the shelves, Silas stood stalwart behind her ready to collapse because of how exasperated he was. A minute of silence and hefty panting eventually dwindled and Victoria stood-up announcing that this event was over. Allowing Silas to finally pull up his pants in the awkward silence they had created.

'Um... I guess that I will be going now.' Victoria Eden.

It was weird for Silas, for so long he had Dean in his ear talking about how great Victoria was in bed and now he had just experienced it for himself, even towards the end of hers and Dean's relationship when they weren't sleeping together as much Dean would say how great it was. Silas wondered to himself whether she knew that he was still a virgin before-hand or if she figured that he had already slept with someone else.

'Yep, same I guess.' Silas Chapman.

'... Um. Please don't tell anybody about this, you know since I went out with Dean and you're his best friend and all.' Victoria Eden.

Although it was awkward, there was not going to be any retaliation for Silas sleeping with Victoria, Dean left school early last year and her current boyfriend was a d-bag who worked at the local Indian casino, and since both were outside the school neither would be around. At least, that's what Silas hoped.

'Yeah okay but I'm barely even a friend at this point.' Silas Chapman.

This was Silas's admission of guilt to what just transpired compelling Victoria to reply to him.

'I'm his ex-girlfriend not his current girlfriend, I've moved on and he should to!' Victoria Eden.

It had only been of recently that the thought, wondering what Silas Chapman would be like in bed and unfortunately, he would be rated pretty low if Victoria was being honest, it was like it was his first time or something.

Leaving the store without another word Silas watched as she wasted no time making her get away even forgetting to get something from the food aisle, this was an inconsistency with her story but she did just take his virginity so he was willing to let it slide.

Getting back to business Silas paced over to the kitchenware aisle where he found large jugs of vinegar, the small sense that tonight was drawing to a close hit him as he took two down from the rack and walked out the door with them.

4:40AM

He sat at the head of the brown oak kitchen table, nothing sitting in front of him as he waited patiently for something to happen or someone to show themselves.

Jacob's house was a luxurious two-story house out in Rosewood, the view out onto the back was dismal only looking up to the juggernaut Mount Whitefall, a jacuzzi sat out in the elements covered by a tarp to protected the water as the gardens and lawns looked freshly done. But this was the way his house always looked so he wasn't sure whether that was a good thing or a bad thing.

He hoped terribly that his parents would show up at any moment, and it was dwelling on them that made Jacob start to think about them.

His dad (Francis Shepard) worked as a finance manager from a company in Seattle which had branched out to Whitefall, with him doing the finances of a few Whitefall businesses and plenty from the surrounding areas.

His mother (Maria Malik-Shepard) was an accomplished lawyer in the city before moving to Whitefall where she took a house-wife role but still kept in touch and done a few cases with her old law-firm just to keep active and make sure that she was still engaged with her old life rather than forsake it forever.
