The Twins

Chapter 6

   When Raven was finally able to control her body again her body felt as heavy as led, she didn't want to waste her energy changing back so she spoke in wolf and told her brother she was in control again. Then the woman had started to tell them how she knew the twins but Raven interrupted her and said, " I saw you when we were just babies, I know who you are now and why you left us." with the exception of talking in wolf.

" Ah, now this is a bit embarrassing." she said scratching her head.

" Wait, now I'm lost, how exactly do we know her?" said Onyx confused.

" I know who this woman is to us and her name." Raven said like this was a normal thing to her.

" Yeah, and apparently her wolf was awake even back then. If she wasn't, she wouldn't be able to recognize me."

"It kind of makes sense but what exactly is this wolf you keep talking about lady?" Asked Onyx.

"It's the wolf that you turn into occasionally, it isn't just a form you take it has its own personality and mind, like you and me." Said Ruby "The wolf you had an argument outside with, was my wolf in a physical form."

"Wait, you can give your wolf a physical form?!?" Raven yelled confused and surprised at the same time.

"Yes, you both can if you know what your wolfs name is and how much they trust you by yourself." Said Ruby a little surprised at how excited Raven was about it.

   Then Onyx had started to feel a little light headed, and before he knew it he was back in the purple forest. This time the person who had warned the last time he was there, but before he could say anything the person in the dark cloak was in front of him. Onyx just stared in awe as the person in the cloak turned into a wolf before him. That wasn't the only thing that he found strange, behind the now wolf the shadow of a man with red eyes was still there.

"Who are you exactly? What are you?" Said Onyx slightly scared of the shadow behind the wolf.

"You might not believe me but I'm your spirit animal." Said the wolf in a sheepish voice, unlike the first time he talked to him.

"Ok, I believe you but what's up with your shadow? Its staring at me like I'm food or something."

"Oh, just try not to look at it too much right now. It's the first time he has seen you so he needs to know that we can trust you before it goes away." Said the wolf with a more comfortable voice.

"While were both here why don't we try to get to know each other better. Like what's your name for instance."

He blushed at the sudden question but replied, " Its Blaze."

   Onyx then noticed that the cloak was still on Blaze, he slowly moved so he knew that he was going to take the cloak off him. After he did Blaze didn't stop him but what Onyx saw was shocking, Blazes face had a scratch over his eye making three scars over it. Blaze then turned back into human and but the cloak back on hiding his face once again, Onyx then had felt sad and sorry for Blaze.

" I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that without your permission." He said now feeling bad for taking off the cloak in the first place.

   Blaze saw Onyx feeling bad for what he had done and said " Hey its now your fault, I let you take it off me in the first place. Plus, how would you have known about it." Blaze added now feeling bad that he let him see the scar.

   Even though Blazes words made him feel a bit better he still felt as if he should know about why and how Blaze got the scar. After their conversation there was a long silence, then they both started to feel like something was happening outside the forest. Blaze ran off looking like he knew exactly what was happening, Onyx feeling curious followed closely behind the now wolf Blaze. Then they came across a puddle in the middle of a clearing, and through it he could see what was happening outside his body. Back to Raven and Ruby, they both were starting to get worried for Onyx being asleep for so long. Ruby still in her wolf form went up to her sleeping brother, when her instincts kicked in and she started to lick his face and nudging him with her head.

   Onyx started to wake up so he said, " When I come back I want to know who did that to your face and why you have to hide it."

Blaze smiled and said, " I will, it's a promise."

   Then Onyx woke up covered in wolf slobber, he started to laugh cause, it had started to tickle his face, he tried to bush Raven away but he didn't have enough strength. When she heard his laugh, she jumped with joy that he was finally awake and continued to lick his face. After a while of laughing and a slobbery face they both stopped, Raven then flopped onto her brother out of breath. They both just stayed that way until they heard laughter coming from behind them. Raven got up and walked over to the laughing figure and sat in front of her and tilted her head with a confused and concerned look on.

   Ruby then sat up and wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at them both with the sincerest look on her face. Then said,

" I'm so, so sorry for having to leave you both with Gram an Gramps. I never wanted to leave you, I even visited you every night when you both had gone to sleep so I could make sure you both were still safe."

   Raven then got up and laid her head on Ruby's lap and said, " I know, and we never believed that you never wanted us, we still love you Mom."

   Onyx then had tears in his eyes and ran over to his Mother saying, " I'm so happy we finally found our mom. We have wanted to go looking for you sense Gram and Gramps had mentioned you."

   Then they all just sat there hugging their mother that they have wanted to see sense as long as they could remember. After a while of just lying there they all fell asleep, but what they didn't know was that in a faraway place someone woke up sensing two more even powerful figures close to their home. They knew what they had to prepare for, a war.
