The Twins

Chapter 13

   Ruby, furious ran outside and almost turned full wolf but she remembered there was a normal human in her house where she could still see her. Onyx ran after her with Blaze following right behind him. She had turned wolf when he found her in one of the equipment in the training area. Her ears were down, and her tail was tucked in, he didn't know what made her this sad, but it must have been something very important to her.

   "Mom?" He said with concern.

   "Can you leave me, I just want to think." She said with her head down even farther.

   "No, not this time, I want to know what made you this sad."

    She sighed and explained what happened and the letters, her friend, and the promise he made and broke. He still didn't quite understand but, what he did understand was that him and his sister were now powerful enough to do something about the king who is filled with greed. He asked his mom about how strong he is, what type of animal he's part of, anything to get some type of leverage on him.

   When they both went back the girl was gone and so was Alex, Raven let her leave sense she gave her some food and Alex to lead her out of the forest safely. Onyx called Raven over to their room to tell her what he had in mind, but so did Raven. When he told her about his plan she agreed with him and had the same idea.

   They both planned to sneak out at night when their mom would be asleep and so would her wolf. The wolf came out at night when she was asleep to keep watch but, their wolves knew what time she would be asleep by. They can only be out for a certain amount of time when their person is asleep.

   They both snuck out close to midnight and they managed to not wake up their mom. When they made it outside the sky was a lovely color of blue, crimson, and black with all the stars you could see. They couldn't help but stay just for a little longer, so they could remember just how colorful the sky was, what they didn't know was someone was creeping up behind them.
