The Twins

Chapter 9

   The king could feel the children's power growing stronger with every passing day. But the day before he felt as if the power jumped from maybe a 30 straight to 60 in a matter of minutes. This sudden change in power made him even more stressed that they were getting closer and closer to him with each day.

   The taxes shot up for the people, with how high the taxes were already they couldn't handle this sudden raze. The people grew angry at the king, he has only been taking from them ever since he gained the thrown 15 years ago. Sadly, the people were too weak to fight back against the king so the waited until someone would come to save them from this crap hole they had to live in.

   Raven now in the white forest she felt like she had to say something to get her wolf to listen, when she heard it screaming in her head, "Go to him he'll help!".

   She didn't know why she said it, but it worked, she started to move towards Onyx/Blaze. From the looks of it he was so happy to see her he jumped up and turned wolf in the air. They ran around playing running in the trees trying to find and catch each other. While they were playing they didn't notice that their mom had also started to play with them running around trying to find them both.

   She could catch up with them easily and fit in places much faster than they could keep up with. Once she stopped in a clearing Raven creeped up on her mom and finally caught her. Raven was so excited to find out how to run and hide that fast she didn't hesitate to ask as soon as she caught her.

   "Can I do that to?" Raven said excitedly.

   "After a bit of training you could probably beat me in a race." Ruby said with a smile.

   Raven jumped off her prancing around all excited to learn how to run that fast and hide. Onyx finally caught up to them he didn't know what made Raven so happy. He asked how their mom could run that fast and how he could do it to, Raven heard him and ran over as fast as she could and yelled, "We can train!".

   It started to get dark out so they all decided to go back to the tree house. The day after the twins woke up to a loud whistle that made their ears ring for a few minutes, they ran out to find their mom standing at the bottom with her wolf beside her ready to train as the sun was rising. It looked like she had made a full obstacle course overnight.

   "Time for training kids." She said with a huge grin on.

   "Oh boy" Raven and Onyx both said now regretting wanting to train.

   After about an hour of running over hurdles and going under tree roots they finally fell on the floor when she finally said that it was time for a brake. She went over to them with some fresh melon slices and told them they did an excellent job for their first day.

   "This is just the first day!" They both said exhausted.

   "Yep, and you'll have to do this again today maybe.......2 or 3 more times"

   "Uugghhh" they both fell to the ground not wanting to ever get up.
