"Hyung!" Jungkook called, and it didn't take long for the elder to recognize him.
Instead of a warm hug, Jimin playfully smacked him. "For the love of all that's good, Jungkook, why didn't you tell us you were coming back today?"
Jungkook laughed. He knew his friend would react like this—overly dramatic, but it was fine. He knew it was just Jimin's way of showing he cared, seeing him as a younger brother, and Jungkook had never hated that thought. "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you beforehand," he said with a grin.
Jimin groaned. "Save it, Jungkook. I know your antics."
"Can we go now? I'm really tired, hyung. I need to get some rest." Jungkook whined, already walking toward Jimin's car, leaving the elder to just shake his head.
Inside the car, Jungkook settled his bags on the back seat as Jimin started the engine. "I'll let you off the hook this time," Jimin said before pulling away from the curb. "But you owe me one great story first thing in the morning."
