chapter sixteen: almost

jungkook was on his way to fetch his hyung, jimin obviously, because boy was slacking off and hates to move a muscle, so jungkook being the good baby boy he is, had gone to the road for a fifteen minute drive to the yg building where jimin was patiently waiting. he's such a lazy ass, most of the time.

seoul isn't known for its busy streets and is not common for one but today is just different, bumper to bumper, vehicles are moving timidly and jungkook hated it so much.

he calles jimin to inform him the traffic but the older cared less, he wasn't the one stuck in traffic anyways so why would he bother, and jungkook really hated himself on why did he even called him, when he knows he cannot receive a good reply from him.

the traffic had him worst, he is frustrated and could throw hands anytime to anyone, he wouldn't care. all he wanted for now is to get out of the traffic.

he roamed his eyes around, observing the busy streets of Seoul, how he missed. everything seemed nostalgic for him, and he cannot help but to smile.

from the building until the billboards, oh the billboards, a familiar face was on the billboard, and this time, he is properly convinced.

a picture of lisa, almost barefaced on her latest released nylon magazine issue and for the next two days, she'd be having a meet and greet with her fans on her elle magazine issue together with her brother.

"filthy rich." he said out of nowhere, jungkook just couldn't imagine her status right now. if she can eat well all along or is she restricting herself from food which is common among models, jungkook knew she was a big water and somehow it worried him most.

he was snapped back in thoughts when multiple car honks bombarded him. the traffic seemed to ease and his car was stopped in the middle, to immensed admiring lisa from above.

"damn, lisa."

"wow, I didn't knew you can stillㅡ"

"hyung, I-i think I found her." jungkook cut him off.

"who? your thai crush? where?" jimin teased him.

"in a billboard." the elder was shook. he's gotta be kidding. he bursts in laughter.

"jungkook, stop. you're making me cackle." he pleaded but he looked damn serious.

"hyung-"

"fine, fine. who is it?" he gave up but he was trying hard to contain his laughter.

"lisa manoban."

"lisa manoban? lisa fucking manoban? the greatest model today?" jimin was shook. so his instincts was right all along? is that it?

last night he suspected that lalice and lisa were one person, based from the picture but he didn't know why he wouldn't believe.

"hyung, you're right." jungkook told him first before he could.

"I am." jimin realized it was a perfect time to let them see each other, now that he felt he had been closer to lisa (after their talk earlier, and the reason why he wanted jungkook to come is because he wanted him to be jealous that he's close to his childhood crush and his destiny).

"well, great! lisa-ssi is inside you can meet herㅡ or maybe no" jimin is about to head for the entrance of the lobby and jungkook tailing him all along but then jimin saw lisa arguing with her brother, which made the both of them shock.

"woah, lisa and her genes never disappoint." jimin said out of the blue.

"is that kimmy? oh my god he looked so tall." jungkook whispered. for sure he also knew the guy, who is also one of his closest playmates way back in childhood.

"lisa is tall but he's taller, oh my god." jimin was shook with the both of them but it seems like the siblings don't care about anything around them as taehyung maybe teased her again since he was laughing and lisa is about to burst out in anger anytime.

"let's go, jungkook. I'm sure there's a best time for your reconciliation." jungkook laughed. jimin and his words never failed to amazed him.

"whatever, hyung." he teased him and went back to where their car is. breaking the gaze he seem to cannot tear off away lisa and his brother.

"if you won't get inside the car for three more seconds I won't give you passes for her meet and greet." jimin shouted inside the car and by the word meet and greet, jungkook's ears ring and he ran in the speed of light, closing the car door instantly.

"tickets for her meet and greet, thanks." jungkook grinned and started the car, shocking the elder.
