Chapter Twenty-Eight: Old Memories

-What the hell did just happen?

That was the first thing I said when we were back inisde my grandma's house, everyone was thinking the same but of course I had to be the first one to say it.

-I have no idea. Did you know those demons, Scott?-my dad asked.

-No sir, I have never seen them before.

-Well what about you mother, you must know something.

My mother hasnt said a thing after what happened, she looks like she has been thinking about what the demons said, maybe she knows who they are and why they want to kill her. I have this feeling that it has to do with something that happened in the past.

-I dont know who they are.-my grandmother said.

-Do you have any idea why they are after you?

When grandma Rose heard my mom's question her eyes popped out, like she has figured  out something.

-I'm not sure but I have an idea of who is behind this.

-Wait, grandma, you think the demons are working for someone else?-she nodded answering my question.

-I think who is behind this attack is  Margaret Asher.

-Margaret Asher? I have never heard of her.-my dad said.

-Of course you havent, I met her a long time ago. We went to the same high school, she was the typical, what do you call it nowadays? Oh yes, a mean girl, a total bitch.

Scott and I laughed at what my grandmother just said, I think this is the first time I listen to my grandmother cursing, and it's kinda funny. She is such a serious woman and now listenning her cursing  it's so unsual that it becomes funny. Meanwhile, my parents were also surpreised but didnt start laughing.

-Margaret always hated me and I hated her too, she hated me even more when I met Tony. I saw in Margaret's eyes that she liked him, however I could also see in his eyes that he didnt like her, he liked me. When Tony and I start dating she was jealous, very jealous, one day she went to Tony to tell him that I wasnt good for him, that he should be with her, Tony said that they would never happen and that I was the woman of his life.

-For a week, Tony and I didnt heard a thing from Margaret, until one afternoon after school, she followed me on my way home and told me that one I would pay for stealing her man. And now after all these years she is doing what she said she would do.

So that's it?!?! This Margaret wants to kill my grandmother because she thinks that my grandmother "stole" my grandfather from her. This woman is crazy.

-Wait so she wants revenge for what happened 60 years ago?-Scott asked.

-Yes.

-I have a question, does she knows or always knew that you and Tony were angels?-my motherasked now.

-Back at the time I dont believe she knew it but now she obvioulsy knows.

-And she might be a demon.

What my dad said can be true, if those demons are really working for Margaret then she must be a demon too. Okay so if Margaret is working with demons to kill my grandmother then we have a serious problem because how the hell are we going to fight her and her army of demons.

-If you guys want I can talk to my family to see if they anything about her. I mean my parents know a lot of important people among the demons and my brother, well he has a lot of friends.

-Could you really do that Scott?-my dad asked him.

-Yes sir.

-You dont have to do that Scott.

I dont Scott or his family to get hurt because of my family, I will save my grandmother, besides I dont think if other demons find out that his family helped a family of angels will be happy about it. I just dont want anyone to get hurt.

-What are you talking about Grace? Of course I am going to help, we are talking about your family. I am not leaving you all in the moment you need help the most. Besides I think it will be very useful a little demon help to fight another demons.

Is this guy the best or what?!?!

-Are you sure about this?

-100% sure Gracie.-Scott said with a smile.

-Okay everyone, I think it's time to call my side of the family to get ready for a fight. We all need to be ready for what's going to happen.

My mom was right, it's time to get ready for the fight and oh boy if it's going to be a hell of a fight.
