Chapter Thirty-One: Six is better than Four

  -Sarah, Jenna, I can explain... 

Maybe I can, maybe I cant, anyway I have to tell them the truth, they deserve to know. They have been by my side since we met, it's not fair if I keep them in the dark. It's going to be hard to explain them all this mess and for them to believe it, but at least I tried.

-Maybe we should so this in somewhere else, dont you think girls?-Scott asked us looking to the students, who were getting out of school.

-Yes we should. Do you want to come with us?  We are going over to Scott's house, maybe if you come I could expalin all of this to you.

Jenna and Sarah look at each other, clearly talking between them to decide what to do. I know them, they are taking some time to decide but they are going to say yes because they want to find out what is going on.

-Okay we will go with you.

And with what Sarah said, the six of us went to Scott's house.

-Wow you live here?-Jenna asked Scott looking at his housewith her mouth open, I cant judge her, I had the same exact reaction when I first came here.

-Yes, now do you girls need a minute alone or do you prefer to do this in front of us?

We all went silence but I decided to break it so this wont be more akward.

-Maybe some time alone would be good.

The three guys nodded and went to the kitchen, leaving me, Jenna and Sarah alone in the living room. It was very akward at first, no one said anything for a couple of seconds but then Sarah decided that it was time for me to start talking.

-So, Grace, what are you waiting for to explain what story is that of you fighting some demons?

-Well you see that is true, I know it sounds weird but demons and angels do exist, and I am one of them.

At first they were shocked but then Jenna start laughing, while Sarah had the same reaction.

-Okay, Grace have you been driking? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

-It's not a lie Jenna.-She stop laughing.

-Okay then, what are you a demon or an angel?

-I'm an angel.

-Prove it.-Sarah said.

-What?

-You heard me Grace, prove that what you are saying is true.

For a moment I didnt know how to prove to them that I wasnt lying, but then something came to my mind, the only thing that could make them believe me.

 I let my wings appear in front of them.

With time I start learning how to control my angel side, and how to hide it from everyone else, including my best friends.

When they saw my wings they were shocked, Jenna for example, she was so white that I thought she was going to faint.

-Am I dreaming?-Jenna asked.

-I dont think so, because if this is a dream then I'm having the exact same dream and that's not very common.-Sarah answered our friend.

-Do you believe me now?

-Yes.-they said at the same time.

-Grace, please explain what is going on?

I hide my wings back and we sat on the couch, I'm thinking of how to explain everything that is going on, so they will understand everything.

I start telling them eveything since the begging, from my birthday and how I found out that I was an angel to recent events, the attack on my grandma's house.

-So let me see if I get it, there are some demons who are working for some woman, who is trying to kill your grandmother Rose because she married your grandfather?

-Yes Sarah.

-Okay I get it now but I still dont see where the guys come in this picture.

-Well they are demons and they decided to help me, to fight those demons.

-Of course they did, I'm mean Scott obviously will help and James and Nick, since are his friends, they will also help.-Jenna said.

-How can we help?-Sarah asked.

-Help? No you guys cant help, you are humans, you might get hurt and that's the last thing I want.

-Grace, honey, you dont really think we will let you fight a bunch of assholes while we watch some tv show, do you? Besides we might met a really hot angel or demon to our little Sarah.

When Jenna said that I laughed with her, while Sarah start blushing.

-Stop saying those things Jenna and let's focus. Grace, we will help you, we are best friends and best friends help each other, I think the same applies to angels. We will always be here for you.

I definetely have the best friends in the world.

-Did you guys get the plan? It's not hard we just need to focus and make sure that everything goes as we planned, right?

-For the tenth time Scott, we get it.-James said to Scott, clearly looking annoyed.

-It's just to make sure. Anyway it's getting late.

-Yes, I have to go, Aiden is waiting for me.-Jenna told everyone.

-Oh yes I shloud go too.-Nick said.

-Well I have to go too.-This time Sarah was the one who said it.

-Do you need a ride?

Hold on, did James really asked Sarah if she needed a ride?? Wow I didnt see that coming, and apparently I wasnt the only one, because everyone looks surprised, just like me, including Sarah.

-Are you sure?

-Yeah, for me to get home, I have to go by your street. Look do you want it or not?

-Ye-yes, thank you.

The guys start leaving the house while I stayed behind so I could talk to Scott.

-Do you think our plan will work?-I asked him.

-I dont know but we have to try. Grace I promise, you, your family and your friends will be safe, I'll make sure of that.

-I want you safe too.

-I'll try my best.

And with that we gave a goodbye kiss and went home. I really hope this will work.
