Annetta's POV

A scowl reached my face as I gulp the drink at once, upbeat music blared in my ears as my surroundings were filled with drunk people dancing. Those same people chattered and although they were a few steps away from me, I could hear them right next to my ear. It was getting hot in here, so I reached for my jacket and yank it off my clammy body. Laser lights shone on me as I glance up, it was beginning to blind me.

"Fanculo..." I mumble to myself as I blink away, a chuckle reached my ear as I move.

"Come on Annetta, lighten up will you? I've brought you out for a drink, let's have fun."

"Yeah yeah.." I mumble with a grudge, I roll my eyes away and grab another shot to gulp at one, when I did I groaned. "Have fun? When Destefano is in our culo, blackmailing us?"

"Come on," Seth chuckles when I glance over my shoulder to him, he reached for my hair and tucked it behind my ear before he caresses my cheek. "Forget about him for one night."

As Seth's intimate touch encourages me, I smirk at him drunkenly. The thought of Destefano made my blood boil but Seth immediately knew how to lift my mood. Suddenly, the blaring tempo music was fascinating to my ears, so much so that my body began to move in sync. Seth cackled when he grabbed my hand and began to pull me into the crowd of people dancing.

A huge smile reached my lips when Seth wrapped his hand around my waist and began to dance with me with the music. Our feet move to the music. Sweaty bodies collided with ours as we lose ourself, the moment felt bliss and unreal. I felt alive, so hyper and carefree.

"See, I told you to live a little." Seth mumbles into my ears before he grabbed my face between his hands and kisses me. My lips latched onto his as I kiss him back, exhilarated as ever. I felt numb as I close my eyes and claw Seth's forearm, trying to pull away to breath but he didn't give me a chance.

I open my eyes and pull away from a second and when I did, my eyes caught something surprisingly weird. My heart palpitates for a moment as I comprehend the imagine, my eyes try to follow as he walks into a huge crowd and then vanishes. For a fleeting moment, I thought I was seeing things but I know I was not. I snap out of it and finally manage to pull Seth away from me, when I did he gazes at me in perplexity.

"What..?" He asks as his breath rushed out of his lips,

"I need...to use the rest room!" I shout to him over the music, Seth watches me in a state of confusion before I shove my pinky finger to his face, indicating the need of the restroom. Seth laughs in a drunken state before he nods his head and the releases me.

As I move away from him, I begin to scrutinise the crowd once again and scowl to myself when I thought I had lost him. However, when my eyes caught the back of his head, heading into the male restroom, I inhale a deep breath as my stomach stirred and sigh nonchalantly.

After a second of searching my surroundings, I reach the male restroom only to be greeted with a queue, a very long one. I roll my eyes as I witness at least twenty men waiting to use the one restroom and the fact that he skipped the queue, really made me roll my eyes again. I make way through, pushing each men that were waiting and as I did, I spotted his guard standing right next to the door.

"Hey, What the fuck? This is the men's restroom." One man yelled at me, I glance over my shoulder and throw him a glare before my middle finger was summoned and shoved in front of his face.

When I reached the door, I rushed in just in time to get past the security who barely guarded the door. When I shove myself in, the music was no longer blaring in my ear, it was fading. The water was running as I lean against the door and sigh nonchalantly, I was drunk but not enough to be oblivious. I blink a couple of times as I search the restroom and thought for a second that yes, I was indeed drunk as fuck when I thought I saw him entering this room, however right now it was pretty much empty.
