He looked dead. His once tanned skin and perfectly moist skinned was now paler and whiter than the white walls in the cold hospital bedroom.
Ariana couldn't help but let the tears fall. Though they said that Ian would be fine and it would take a while for him to wake up she couldn't help but feel this was her fault. If she only told somone the issues she had with Trey none of this would have happened.
"Ian. I know your big headed ass can hear me," Ariana croaked as she gently caressed Ian's lifeless hands.
"You need to get up. I have to keep my end of the bargain remember? You saved my life again!" Ariana cried as she let her head hang as more tear fell.
"I miss your sarcastic ways. I need your touch. Hell I even miss your blunt stupidity!" she laughed out as she sniffled slightly roughly wiping tears from her eyes.
"You were a stupid ass for even coming by yourself. I'm just glad you didn't lose enough blood to die. But right now I feel like you are dead. Your body is here but your awesome spirit else where," Ariana breathed out not caring how stupidly cliche she sounded.
She lightly caressed Ian's hand one last time before getting up from the chair. As she grabbed her jacket and purse she turned around to kiss Ian on the forehead only for his arm to snap up and grab her arm.
She gasped.
"Ian?" Ariana cried out.
"You are so girly at hospitals," Ian croaked as he held onto his now un scar neck with his other hand.
"Ian!" Ariana screeched happily as she helplessly jump onto the bed and hugged him tightly never wanting to let him go.
"Yet when you kept insulting me in a not so evil and cruel way....," Ian mumbled.
"I'll call a nurse," Ariana rushed as she started getting up from the bed only to have Ian latch onto her tighter.
"Don't go yet. I don't want to be asked stupid questions yet," Ian begged childishly.
Ariana couldn't help but chuckle glad that the person that she fell in love with was still here.
"You're such a child," Ariana scoffed.
"Mommy please stay with me," he replied in a baby voice, blinking as if he were an innocent child.
Sighing in defeat I crawl back into Ian's arm and we just lay there at first. Embracing and gently caressing each others body. Then they started talking to each other about random things. Next thing they knew they were both sound asleep on each other.
Next thing Ariana knew she was gently being tap out of her first peaceful rest in a week.
"What?" She mumbled cuddling into Ian's chest more.
"I'm sorry but it's past visiting hours and you're still here. You must go," a nurse cooed.
Ari looked out the window to see that it was dark out. She bit her lip nervously and realized she didn't exactly want to be out in the street at night. Especially with the possibility of her father crawling around town.
"I understand you're just doing your job. But like you said it's really late and dark out. I promise I'll leave in the morning if you just allow me to stay here the night," Ariana begged hoping the nurse would do her this favor.
She frowned slightly, trying to decide weather or not if she should just leave the girl here. She had no idea how Isabelle would react to this. She held up one finger and quickly raced to the hospital phone real quick to call Isabelle and see if it would be ok.
