I couldn't hear anything from the loud noise the boys were making, they were all bickering and playing random tunes debating whether which one was better. I didn't know it was going to be this hard working with them, if I'd known I wouldn't have suggested helping them out that night.

"Guys! Quit it." I stood in the middle of their garage and placed a hand on my temple, as if it was supposed to stop my head from throbbing. "Why don't we just take it from the top?" They all agreed and held their guitars firmly.

It was a Tuesday afternoon and I was already having a headache. I had to ditch a meet-up with Logan just to help out these kids. They were obviously going nowhere and if they continued acting like children like they are right now, they'd be stuck with making covers for a really long time.

"Why don't we just change the lyrics? It sounds so tragic and we need something exciting, not the depressing kind like this one." Luke scanned over the lyrics once more and made a disgusted face.

I was the one who wrote it. "You're only saying that because I wrote it." I defended as he stood up from his seat and pushed his guitar on his back.

He took a few steps towards me and stopped midway. "That's exactly why I don't like it. And who the hell writes a song about family?" The boys shrugged making him grunt. "Look, Adam said he wanted us to make our own new music that would be worth marketing. Sad and emotional songs nowadays are overrated and typical. We need something that ignites a flame in a person's soul. Something that clearly screams 'bad' and 'rebellion'." He said while making air quotations.

The boys didn't seem to be bothered by the lyrics, he was just being a whiny baby. "What do you suggest?" I challenged him as I took a step forward, trying to sound brave.

He only shrugged. "I wrote a few lyrics myself." He went for his bag and took out a small notebook with a few papers tucked in every page.

He fumbled for a bit until he found what he was looking for and showed it to the rest of the guys. They were all reading it with goofy smiles plastered on their faces and it was making me anxious.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed the notebook from them. I scanned the paper and it wasn't a moment later that I threw it at him.

"You wrote a song about me?" He was holding his stomach from laughing too hard while the boys soon joined him.

In a normal situation, a boy writing a song for a girl would've been real romantic. But upon reading the words he wrote about me, it wasn't that very much appealing.

"But she sneaks out the window to meet with her boyfriend?" I read with disbelief. "That is bullshit and you know that!" I yanked the notebook away from his grasp and hit him on his shoulder with it.

"But it's the truth! And the video would be perfect with you in it." I let out a frustrated groan and sat down in the corner while they all continued laughing their asses off.

After a few more minutes of joking around, the boys finally tried working on their new lyrics. Even though I wasn't listening that much, it sounded as if they could already handle things without me.

I scrolled through my phone and decided to send Logan a quick text that I'd still be able to make it. "Hey guys. I'm heading home." I yelled out and they all stopped.

"Already? Come on. We were just getting started." Michael whined as I packed my things. I looked at all of them and noticed Luke with a pissed off look as he bit his guitar pick with his teeth.

He took the pick from his mouth and licked his lip. "Let her go." He said sternly and turned around to head towards Ashton.

I rolled my eyes in response and headed out anyway. I wasn't going to let Luke affect me with his stupid attitude. I can leave whenever I want to, I wasn't bound to be with them all the time just because they have something on me. I have my own life to live.
