I woke up the next morning from the excruciating sound of my phone's blasting alarm. I quickly grabbed it from the nightstand and disabled the alarm with my eyes still half closed. I struggled to open them but by the time I did, I took a glance at my phone to check the time and jolted right up to a sitting position.

It wasn't my alarm after all. I had four missed calls from Logan and as it turns out, I halfwittedly declined his fifth call due to the fact that I was only half awake and I clearly overslept.

My head ached as I tried remembering what kept me up late last night. Flashes of Luke's face entered my mind and I quickly pushed them away. I glanced at my window before letting out a sigh.

I immediately dialed Logan's number and he picked up on the third ring. "Hey. I'm sorry I wasn't able to answer your calls. I was asleep and I stupidly thought that your last call was an alarm." I bit my nails, nervous that he wasn't going to believe my excuse.

I heard him chuckle through the other line. "I figured. You never woke up early on weekends."

I laughed. "You know me too much, babe." I stood up from my bed and walked inside my closet. I scanned through a few clothes and started debating on what I'd be wearing for the rest of the day.

"It makes me a creep don't you think?" I snorted at his question and pulled out a black suspender skirt and a white graphic tee to match it with.

"It doesn't." I assured him. "It just makes you a weirdo and a stalker." I added on and let out a giggle as I entered the bathroom.

I heard him scoff. "You know, I was planning to take you out for waffles this morning but now I'm going to have to rethink about it because you're being mean to me."

"You wouldn't dare." I put him on speaker as I placed the phone on the side of the sink and started brushing my teeth.

"What? We can always skip breakfast." I paused and rinsed my mouth quickly from toothpaste.

"Boy, breakfast is the most important meal of the day." I defended and wiped my mouth from excess water before putting the phone back in my ears.

"And showering is the first thing to do everyday." He stated matter of factly making me roll my eyes.

"Well then go take your own shower because I'm about to have one." I took off my shirt and pajamas before stepping inside. "Bye Logan." I took a whiff of myself and scrunched up my nose.

"Bye babe." I quickly hang up the phone and turned on the shower.

I was humming a song in my head vaguely remembering the lyrics but I still continued even though I heard my mom's voice and another person's voice downstairs. I quickly finished my shower and got dressed.

I grabbed a pair of brown ankle boots and headed out the door to face my parents. I stopped midway downstairs when I heard the sound of my name. "-can't do this to me, not to Samantha. Ben, think about what you're doing." I heard my mom beg.

"We'll work out the details when I-"

"Details to what?" I walked in on the living room and stared at both of them.

My dad eyed me from head to toe and raised an eyebrow. "And where do you think you're going, young lady?"

"Out." I simply said.

He looked at my mom incredulously and pointed a finger at me. "Is this what you've been doing Georgia? Letting your daughter run out on the world alone, getting herself caught up in different kinds of things?"
